Good evening. I’m just emerging from another migraine. I think I’ll contact the surgery (ha!) on Monday if it doesn’t clear up, as that’s a week now and I’m fed up of it.
The wind is howling down the chimney but I have got my ChimneySheep in place so it isn’t too drafty and it’s not co,d anyway, 12deg. Morning rain cleared to leave a sunny afternoon.
Maw such memories.
You, too Urmston.
Annsixty that sounds bizarre and upsetting with your friend. Your pain sounds awful, it’s so wearing, isn’t it?
Soop my dd in Leeds recently said about ‘shoogling’ something and people looked at her as if she was mad! ?. Your paintings are amazing! I am envious. I can’t even paint a wall, let alone anything resembling an object. My dad was a good pen-and-ink artist but he didn’t pass on his skill.
I attended virtually my friend’s funeral yesterday. I just couldn’t summon up the will power to go in person. I noted that there were over thirty online so I didn’t feel quite so bad. There was no celebrant, just mainly family who spoke about my friend, and as is often the way, I learnt things I never knew about her. I felt so sorry for her children, as their dad died only last year. To lose both parents in your 30’s must be quite unusual nowadays.
I’ve been making plans for Christmas, ordering presents and planning food and so on. When ds comes from the US next month he’s taking our gifts back with him. We’re also planning to visit ds2 in London in a couple of weeks and want to take all their loot down to them as well. Plus Dh and I at going to dd in Leeds for Xmas so that’s another tranche of organising to do. I’ve keeping plenty of balls in the air right now!
Wishing you all a quiet evening. Xx
