I have recently heard about this but don’t think I would be keen to try it,have any of you tried it and what do you think?

I've not tried bubble tea, but quite partial to an occasional faluda, a similar concept but with basil seeds, that swell up and pop in the mouth! Mr Basil brand from my local supermarket owned by an Indian family.

It’s delicious, but definitely not an everyday treat!

Anything with hot milk and tapioca would be vom juice for me, I'm afraid. I hated rice, tapioca and sago pudding at school. The smell of hot milk makes me nauseous and just looking at the skin of hot milk tips me over the edge.

Perhaps bubble tea is really for those who don’t really like tea.
Just as the popularity of modern cocktails are for those who’s tastes don’t really enjoy alcohol.?brew

The bubbles and straws make good gifts - you can add them to your own fruit juice. I don't know much about the hot ones, but the same probably applies.
