As of 8 December, anyone in Singapore who refuses to be vaccinated is being charged if they need medical attention for Covid. (It does not apply to those who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons.)
Is this something the UK should consider? (not that I think it will).
I’m afraid there won’t be any choice soon. If there are no staff because they are in quarantine and the unvaccinated are the ones who will need hospitalisation as they are the most vulnerable, people who have had the vaccine are generally having this new variant mildly, there will always be the exceptions of course. It’s their decision not to have vaccine so I’m sure they realise the risk and think it’s worth it.
