Christmas trees

My family's Christmas tree.

This was ours until last night - a set of white lights, plus an old fashioned, twinkly coloured set.
But the white set went pop last night. ?
Still looks nice, but not as nice. Not sure I can be bothered to arrange a new set - it’d mean taking so many decorations off first.

Wow you could feature in Country Life! We only have a decorated miniature one which comes out every year! ?

My tree for the past few years has been a half tree which sits neatly on the wall in the lounge, having it on the wall stop's Oliver the Great (big fat cat) from attacking it.

No photograph, but I am only 75, and I put the lights up on the tree by myself yesterday for the first time ever!

Fake tree but I have such fond memories of my children and sil giving it to me. It's also easy to assemble

Forgot to add I’ve decided I need a new bushier tree or a real one next Christmas.

My family's tree, top of the thread is also a real tree. I think it's a beautifully shaped tree.

They’re all beautiful. I think we are going to buy a real one on Thursday.

Ours is being delivered tomorrow. A real one, so will cut off a couple of inches and give it a big drink in a bucket.

All lovely - mine’s been described as ‘cute’. I tend to agree? And it’s real!

Yes if buying a real tree , buy as soon as possible and treat it like a cut flower. Stand it outside for as long as possible in a bucket of water so it can drink !
