Christmas trees

I have a smallish artificial tree in the living room and thought I would like a small prelit one for the conservatory.
I asked my S if he could get me one from the garden centre.
He texted back to say they didn’t have any left but did I want a small real one.
Ok I said.
This is what he brought me on Monday.
I don’t know what to do with it, it may end up outside with lots of lights on, which I do have.

Love seeing all these trees, they are all beautiful.

I will post a picture of my round tree on this thread. DD2 was allowed out of hospital (at short notice) so we rushed off to buy a tree, any tree would do.
It was too big, so I left DH to cut it down, presuming he’d start at the bottom. Oh no - he hacked the top off (never lived it down either).

This is our real tree, twinkling in the corner!

Ours was bought for a narrow space in our old house and fits in our new house without having to move any furniture.
Interesting to see everyone's tree. This year I strung the lights vertically rather than round and round. It was so much easier.

We have two. The one in the living room has our traditional ornaments, and multi coloured lights.
The smaller one is in the hall, under the stairs. It is pre lit and flocked decorated in pink. We haven't had a real tree for several years.

Why are my photos always sideways on? ?

Ours is artificial. The presents under the tree are fakes. They hide the base and wires.

Here’s mine, put up today. It’s a pre-lit artificial. It takes ages to “fluff”. The instructions say “leave no tips untouched” but it’s worth it. Some of my ornaments are from the 1980’s. I love all my glass icicles.

Mine has been described as an explosion in a tinsel factory. Utterly tasteless and naff but its become a tradition over the years.
I used to try hard to colour coordinate in the past but when the children arrived, I gave up. ?

I’m decorating mine today. It arrived yesterday and is having a long drink in a bucket in the garden.
