Good morning Mick and all from a Glasgow, where it’s a chilly 2°
Gosh, so many of you up already!
beyond midnight, watching Soop's fund creep up to the final total. I actually felt my heart jump, when it suddenly reached the magic number. It has been such a great effort by gransnettersto achieve this.
Kalu are I trying to arrange a red carpet and a piper to welcome Soop, for when she comes down to Glasgow. Nothing, but the best for Queen Soop.
However, my eyes are practically glued shut with tiredness and I really need to wrap the remaining presents, but my fingers are no longer nimble and the parcels look like a five year old child has wrapped them!
Thank goodness the Covid warriors are doing reasonably Ok at the moment. They feel as very fatigued and as if they have a heavy cold, fingers crossed it stays that way.
Thank you all for your good wishes you sent yesterday for wee Dollie.
I ended up doing very little yesterday, apart from –-lazing--resting in the conservatory, watching Turkish dramas! I tell DH it’s all part of my personal development. I have learned some of the Turkish language, about the culture and cuisine and the scenery is beautiful. He can’t argue with that, can he? ?
DD has taken to phoning me on the landline to check that I am not gadding out and about, I could always pretend I was being good, if she phoned on my mobile, so the landline it is! She has taken on the role of my mother!
I have a question for those who have Alexas. Can anyone tell my why our Alexa’s voice has changed from that of a woman to someone, who sounds remarkably like Cliff Richard. In fact I am sure it is Cliff Richard. I got the shock of my life, when he first spoke without being asked. He really should know his place. It’s actually quite creepy, as the other devices still have a woman's voice. I did ask him why he was speaking in a male voice, he said he had no idea either! ?
Glad to hear that your family managed to get some medical help yesterday, but sorry to hear about the non results from the PCRs. I hope they come today.
I will go and read all the posts, accompanied by my cuppa, which my butler has just brought.
A special thank you to the poster on here, who yesterday, kindly shared a personal, medical email with me, regarding some positive news. It has given me a glimmer of hope.
Have a good day, everyone. Well as best you can!
