Apologies fir waking anybody up , but Good morning and a Happy Christmas to you all!
There has been much tiptoeing and whispering going on as those of you with GC staying or who are visiting family with little ones will be experiencing. Can’t we all remember those happy days days when we struggled through Christmas Day on a minimum of sleep - it used to seem like barely an hour between tiptoeing into bedrooms with the stockings and “HE’S BEEN!”
My Christmas started with a magical Christingle service yesterday then home for mulled wine and to dry out as it was chucking it down.
For those of you alone - not by choice- or with worries and sadness, I hope the spirit of Christmas will envelop you like a warm hug and bring you comfort and strength for the days to come.
God bless us every one!

Merry Christmas from South Yorkshire. I'm a regular reader and very occasional poster but my new year resolution is to post regularly. Dd1 arrived early this morning with her partner. Both clad in Christmas PJ's, dressing gown and woolly hats. Off to ds1 and Dil for lunch and eevening meal (and some wine hopefully). Wishing you all a lovely day

Good Morning and Merry Christmas to everyone. ?????
Was meant to be going to my daughters as usual, but COVID has struck them. I could have invited myself to a few different houses, but have opted to be “Home Alone” today. It’s going to be a very lazy day, reading, eating and drinking. Might go for a wee walk if weather stays fine.
Hope you all have a lovely day xx

Happy Christmas to you all. How do you even wake up so early fellow Grans? We have Covid here ( thankfully recovering) , so it’s quiet today but still cooking a turkey crown. Watched All Creatures Great and Small last night and loved it. Little things bring such pleasure after days of feeling poorly. Enjoy your day all xx

Merry Christmas everyone and thank you so much for your kind comments. I have had video call with DGS2 he is tired as had a lot of physio this morning. A bonus DGS1 was also there as he was allowed on the ward today normally under 16 not allowed and Santa did find him as he was quite concerned he wouldn't know where he was. We will have a quiet day here no heart for any celebration maybe a long walk as the rain has cleared for now.

A Happy Christmas to you all.

We are having a white one this year!

Not possible to go to church, due to corona restrictions, so making do with televised Mass.

Happy Christmas to everyone and a healthy and peaceful New Year. Keep safe and well.
It's a wet Christmas Day here on the Herts/Bucks border. We two are to join DD1 and family for lunch today and DD2 on 27th. Very excited GDs. O for the enthusiasm of youth!

mrswoo Sat 25-Dec-21 11:43:46

Wishing each and every one a very Happy Christmas. Wherever you are and whatever you do I hope you have a good day.

Another reader/lurker here. Seasons greetings from a damp Wiltshire. Wishing all GMs a peaceful Christmas, with thoughts for those alone or coping with illness or problems. This is such a kind, friendly and supportive thread and I have resolved to post more often. Waiting on the arrival of family, lunch prepared, table laid, prosecco chilling,
