Back to the OP - also in support of P A he probably didn’t even know that it was illegal or even immoral to shag an unknown and poor 17 year old girl. Very rich people have odd childhoods and it takes special efforts by parents and teachers to teach them what real life is

Andrew was a middle aged man, with a lot of life experience by the time he formed a close friendship with G Maxwell and Epstein. I’ve reached the conclusion he enjoyed their company, their sexual morals probably fitted easily into his own. The easy availability of young girls was no more than he’d expect when with these two, both now convicted of serious sexual offences.
Epstein had been convicted of sexual abuse of girls when Andrew made his visit, allegedly to tell him they couldn’t be (seen) to be pals anymore

Some of the comments on this thread are distressing and shocking. I notice VioletSky isn’t posting. She has been open about her own experience of being sexually abused. She posted earlier about the impact of that. Many posts here dispute or deny her lived experience as well as the research about its I,pacy.

No one has disputed or denied VS's experience.

Just seen my post was deleted; it was careful and considered and in no way defending any form of sexual activity with a thirteen year old. Nevertheless, an unpleasant reality.

Not surprisingly. Though I read that Epstein’s former lawyer got proceedings against him dropped on the basis of the agreement. How can anyone in all good conscience accept half a million dollars from Epstein and sign an agreement to the effect that they won’t sue any of his associates and then proceed to do precisely that? If it were possible she would have gone down still further in my estimation.

Some comfort though to know she was only allegedly abused 3 times in over 2 years compared to the poor woman who gave evidence at Maxwell’s trial.

Well it will certainly be interesting I think. I’m pleased he’s being made to answer in court for what is alleged happened. Guilty? Not guilty? I’d have to listen to the evidence first.

Guiffre claims to want vengeance for the 'victims', possibly to divert the public's attention from the considerable amount of money she has made/is making from her association with Epstein. I did not know, until I read this thread that she was complicit in attracting underage girls for his entourage. Perhaps she will share some of her earnings with them.

I do not understand how Alan Dershowitz can be allowed to avoid charges, under the terms of the sealed agreement Guiffre signed, when Prince Andrew is not.

In reply to your second paragraph eazy, neither do I. I guess that's the US 'legal system' for you. I would like to read the reasoning behind his decision. If there is a right of appeal against the decision (I have no idea) PA's lawyers may take it.

And whilst she was being abused ,allegedly, she was living with her boyfriend in an apartment paid for by her work with Epstein.
