Maw Hopefully my son will be ok.

I wouldn’t worry too much Jax. Although a great worry for his parents I’m sure that the unfortunate young man is the exception and not the rule.
My eighteen year old grandson has tested positive this week for the third time. Summer 2020, spring 2021 and now. Mild symptoms previously. He has no symptoms this time and only found out because he has to do daily tests for his workplace.
Good to share Maw so that we’re all cautious but also good to know that most will be okay.

Good morning Mick, Annie and all. We were very late up this morning, after binge watching a programme that started off OK, but got soppier as it went on.
Still, things to be done, and the morning is almost over.
My ASUS tablet died yesterday and I don't know whether to replace it, or just make do with my trusty old iPad. Any suggestions welcome.
MAW, I saw something a out a young boy recently, he was about 5 or 6. who had had a Covid reaction and his eye had closed completely. He also needed emergency treatment. So definitely something to be aware of.
Time to go back and read all the posts properly.
Have a good day one and all.

Good Day , bit late again ,
It’s lovely and sunny now , I did a 10 min brisk walk round the garden , it took several circuits as the garden isn’t that big , but it was in the open air and I used my stick instead of my Walker so a bit of exercise , better to use the dry days when they happen
I have been turning down the thermostats in view of the rising prices , we have oil heating and it use Electricity to pump the hot water round the underfloor pipes .

Wishing Iris and her family good news and successful surgery - what an anxiety for them all. And hoping for better news for Marydoll who is having such a tough time.

Can register DH’s death tomorrow and start on the essential admin. We still don’t have a funeral date but expect to know soon. I shall soon have lists of my lists at this rate. Meanwhile I am surrounded by cards and flowers and affectionate memories of DH from so many sources which is an enormous help.

I can recommend the Fitsteps class Allsorts if you like dancing about to music. The steps are easy to learn and where I go no one takes themselves too seriously so it doesn’t matter if you go wrong, which I often do. No need for a partner either you just dance away on your own and have fun!
Thanks for the heads up maw it’s always good to know about possible complications
