anyone tried the new online Wordle word game?

5 on Wednesday - couldn’t sleep.

I've played 13 games, had one 'two-er', four 'threes', and otherwise 'fours'. I like that the original Wordle IS only one game a day, that every player gets the same word, I like the 'statistics' dashboard, and the archive of earlier games.

There's the Unlimited game, the 6-letter version, French (and, I think, German, Spanish...), Sweardle, and Absurdle, all of which can be played repeatedly, and can be a bit obsessive! I abandoned Absurdle as it's too prone to repeating words with double letters, or three letters the same (eg BUGGY, WOOZY, MOMMY) multiple times a day).

4 for me today. I am ok with that.

I got today’s ( Wednesday) in two. First time ever. I was lucky with the first word and my guess was correct. I’m going to try Unlimited for a while and then I’d really like to go to sleep.

Idiot that I am, I didn’t include a letter that I’d got correct in my second go, on my third go. ?

I have ‘two sleeps’, and I’m usually awake between 2 and 6 where I faff about on here; do online shopping and other life admin.

Managed a 3 today. So I’m chuffed to beat my previous best of 4.

3 today. I too use an X for a mystery letter.

I got it in 4.
I found it easier because the first couple were totally wrong, so there were only a couple of other options it could be.

Got it in 2!!! Pure luck - got first two letters with my first word

Wednesday =4 happy with that

5 today. Not happy with that - I would like to be saying “got it in 3”. ?

I had my worst ever score of six! The site reacted with “Phew!”

Sorry I realized that and asked them to take it down 3 times. I am so embarrassed ? . I don’t know when they finally decided to do carry it out.
That being said I did it in 4. I am please with that.
