Yes. It's like newspaper crosswords, everybody gets the same one.

Got nowhere and gave up!

Didn't get it today (no surprise there after getting 2 yesterday!) as even after suspecting American spelling I went for the wrong word. If you don't get it, knspol, the answer does come up after your last try so you're not left wondering.

I tried it for the first time today, and I got it in four. I wasn't surprised at the Amercian spelling as I am also addicted to Wordscapes on my phone which also uses American spellings.

nahsme it was definitely American spelling with one letter less than would be in English spelling so I m not sure what one you are doing

Just tried it after the great write up from everyone. Hadn't got to the ones about it being American so it took me 4 goes to get today's but I can see I'll get hooked, just my sort of thing.

Just discovered WORDLE! Got it in 3! All depends on random word which you enter to start with! Is there any way you can discover the daily word if you fail to get it ?

I was really cross with the American spelling today! Well, I know now for next time.

Got in 6 but disappointed to find that the game favors American spelling

It took me to the 6th word to get it today. I've complained to the website as there must be enough 5 letter words in the English language that don't have both American and British spelling.

Just start by entering any 5 letter word and the colour coding will tell you whether you have any letters in the right place (green), wrong place (brown) or not there at all (grey).
Then use elimination and your knowledge of English to work out the right word. Unfortunately today’s answer was an Americanism! ??
