Would you please, PLEASE give us your recipe, and instructions, for your broth?
It's been absolute years since I made any and I just love it, would love to make it for my children & grandchildren!
Last time I made it I was working in London, living 8n Sudbury Town, had been home for a few days and when I got back I'd raced off to get thd ingredients.
I'd started making it up, and one by one my flatmates came in (at least 3 of them Scottish) and asked what it was? When I told them, they made utterances of, "UGH, no, I'll pass, thank you" Great, I thought to myself, all for me...and when I get to the stodgy spuds at the bottom YUMMY!
Finally, it was ready. I got myself a bowl of it and went into my room. I was sitting on my bed when my Scottish roomy asked me what I was eating? I told her. She looked, and said, "God, that smells soooo good, could I get some, please?" But of course!
It didn't last long. Even a couple of girls in the other flats came to see what that lovely smell was? (Flats within one house).
But alas, I lost the recipe, and my mum died so I can't ask her for it!
OH PLEASE SHARE! xx
