Good afternoon, lovely Kitchen people! ?
Happy St Patrick's Day. ☘

I hope Soop's appointments have all gone well, and she and her wonderful man can enjoy the rest of their day/ overnight.

Bon voyages, Brook and Maddy, please bring back some sunshine. ?

TOYA, take care.x

That made me chuckle kitty ? but sorry that you’ve had gremlins with your picture GG13! Hope you can post it later as it sounds lovely

Hoping all has gone well for soop today and I bet the catch up with baggs was good and therapeutic too..

Thank you all for your best wishes for my holidays, we’re in Edinburgh tonight as it’s a very early flight at 6.40am in the morning - it’s hardly worth going to sleep really we might as well prop up the hotel bar ? .. if only the Argy was open ….

I too hope all has gone well for soop today, a lovely meet up with Baggs and no rushing off tonight.
I’ve had a day on the voluntary phone, moved one plant, dug three more in and got fuel in my car at the nearest big supermarket, which was a tad cheaper than the local garage. Also won £10.60 for a 50p bet at Cheltenham.
Have a pleasant evening all, alarms at the ready brook! x

Evening all! Lovely wee catchup with the soops. Both looking well. Such troopers! The multiple appointments today apparently dovetailed beautifully and everyone was pleased with soop's progress. After our wee afternoon tea the soops were going to doss down at an inn Lomondside of Dumbarton rather than head all the way back to Kintyre tonight. Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond were looking beautiful in the sunny rainbowy weather as I headed home to our wee loch.

With her usual care, soop was hoping SweetiePie, or which ever the current visiting cat is (!) would eat the food left out. I just hope a fox doesn't gobble it up first!

soop worries that she might not catch up with everything and everyone in The Kitchen in due course. Naturally I told her not to worry because nobody would take it amiss IF she missed anything in the circumstances.

Photo attached plus one of a fish I painted this morning, which the soops, artists both, were kind enough to say was good. I took up painting (with acrylics so far) last weekend because I so enjoy helping a real artist at work with a class she does for people with dementia. MrB has artistic tendencies and supplied me with all the necessaries, plus I found a few of Minibagg's kiddy brushes from aeons ago and am using those too.

The fish is called Bloch's Bigeye or Priacanthus blochii. I rather love its name!

Thank you for your lovely post Baggs and photo’s too.
You are an excellent PA to our dear soop and your painting skills are coming along nicely too ?
So happy that soop is getting encouraging reviews from the hospital.
Wishing all kitchen friends a very good evening.

A lovely photo Baggs. Good painting too! Acrylics and pastels are my weapons of choice at the moment. I had a very quiet day today and will have a quiet evening.

What a fabulous photo of Soop and Baggs! ❤️ I’m glad things are going the right way for Soop, bumps and potholes in the road notwithstanding.

Safe journey & happy holiday brook.

Thank you baggs. Such a happy image of you and *soop. A very handsome fish too, as someone who can’t draw the side of a barn I’m envious.

Home at last! Yay, it has seemed like a much longer stay-away than a day and a half.

Thank you, Baggs for updating our lovely Kitcheners. Love the photo. It was a treat to catch up.

Pic taken on a wild and windy pass of the Rest and Be Thankful.
The scenery is stunning. Difficult to capture on a photograph.

I am about to unpack and have a much needed brew.
Tomorrow, I shall my best to play catch-up (^again^).

TillyTrotter Fri 18-Mar-22 17:12:11

Have a lovely weekend back at home soop with Mr soop and tweetie pie. You have had a tiring couple of days but you look like a glamorous film star on those photos. Love them!

Charleygirl5 Fri 18-Mar-22 17:32:27

Sweetie Pie would have missed you, or should I say her stomach may have but knowing you she would have been left a hearty meal.

I am pleased to hear that everything went smoothly and luckily the weather was okay. It was a stroke of genius to decide to stay overnight and break up the long drive home.

You are looking more like your old self-you just need some colour in your cheeks.
