Goodness me, no.I'd be unable to cope with those dangly things between my legs.

I was a tomboy and that trait is still evident. I have my own tool box, comfortable using any power tools, chainsaws etc. More than happy to do tasks which many deem as men’s work.

Pretty sure my Father was hoping for a boy but settled for a tomboy and taught me a lot about house maintenance and DIY.

I would much prefer being a man next time around, or a tree.

My mother always said she was coming back as a horse if she had a choice. She had in mind the powerful Clydesdale horses that kept commerce going in her young days. I believe she liked the idea of their strength.

No , I like being female, didn't care for the monthly ups and downs of hormones but since they've stopped
Life just gets better and better

Oh yes, periods were a pain.

Good heavens, no! I’d hate to be a man.

This reminds me of when, at the age of ten, my form at school (all girls) were asked if we would like to be boys. Only two of us didn’t! The reason given was that boys have more fun. I couldn’t see that at all. Perhaps my upbringing was unusual, but I had just as much fun as my brother and was not repressed because I was a girl. Opportunities and expectations were the same.

I have to admit, though, that one of my main reasons for not wanting to be a boy was clothes. Imagine having to spend your whole life in grey flannel, as boys did then - nothing colourful, nothing pretty. How boring to be male!

I love my life who I am I love being a woman and rather feisty like my mum. A man behaving badly is an experience I did not see coming at the time but not all men are like that.

If I came back as a man I would want to be just like my dad it would be ideal. He was handsome strong dependable hard working he was everything good. He was a tough man and wouldn’t tolerate fools.. My son is just like him when I see him I see my dad it makes me so proud.

Never in the reign of pigs pudding would i want to be male.
Having a dangly thing between my legs 24/7 would do my head in.
I shall leave it at that lol.

A dressmaker friend once said that men look as though they haven't been finished off properly. All those dangly bits are so untidy.

MissAdventure Tue 03-May-22 10:52:48

grin
I usually bite any dangly bits off if I'm sewing.

I must say, I would find the dangly bits quite novel.

timetogo2016 Tue 03-May-22 11:12:15

LOL,don`t say that out loud MissA.
You will have men queueing up.

MissAdventure Tue 03-May-22 11:15:19

Queuing up to get out, I reckon!

Wheniwasyourage Tue 03-May-22 11:38:31

No, I wouldn't, although there are times when a dangly bit would be handy if one was caught short when outside...

MissAdventure Tue 03-May-22 11:41:24

Ooh I don't think I'd be able to "go" outside.

timetogo2016 Tue 03-May-22 12:30:23

Lol you would if you had the mans bit MissA.

Namsnanny Tue 03-May-22 12:58:52

Well, my health has been blighted by all things female from the age of 13 till now.
So I would definitely give it a go.
Checking and shifting ones tackle around 50,000 times a day not with standing. (I had brothers who drove me up the wall over this as a teen!)

HousePlantQueen Tue 03-May-22 15:56:26

No, I’d come back as a cat.

Same here. I would come back as my own cat.

VioletSky Tue 03-May-22 16:04:33

I don't really know how reincarnation works, I probsbly wouldn't have any memory of being me....

I wouldn't mind being a man, or even being a straight man, in theory at least....

What I dont know is if that would feel right for me once it actually happened if i did have some sort of memory because of all the things i love about being a woman and a mother.

Froglady, ( love your name and think I know now why you chose it! ) Nature does indeed make mistakes , it always amazes me that a person is made in just 4O Weeks!! No wonder development doesn't always go to plan . As you say people now have options and gender reassignment will in time become much more familiar to people than it is now. I sincerely wish you well - be happy ?

M0nica Tue 03-May-22 16:32:47

I honestly do not know, I spent my childhood wanting to be a boy, I was always described as a tomboy, but puberty, and being throughly hetero sexual, reconciled me to being a girl and as an adult I have had a highly satisfactory life, happily married, but always preferring to work and feeling most at home in a male environment. I am not remotely flirtatious, so never tried to play any basic Instinct tricks, so never had any problems.

The jury is still out.
