This evening we will spend the night moored here at the Quai Jean Jaurès in Vienne.

Tomorrow morning, breakfast will be available from 6:00 am until 9:30 am and we are due to leave our mooring at Quai Jean Jaurès in Vienne around 6:30 am to travel southward the approximately 38 miles to Tournon.

Guests on board may like to know that whereas we are moored here at Vienne with our port side to the quai, as we were at Lyon, at Tournon we will be moored with our starboard side to the quai.

This thread simulation, featured in Gransnet Daily today, does not always move to the top of the active list when updated. Maybe it will now.

The cruise ship is gently moving southward towards Tournon, having departed from the Quai Jean Jaurès in Vienne around twenty minutes ago.

All being well we should arrive in Tournon around 10:30 am.

I noticed in that video one man used thick slices of potato and called them scollops.

I remember from, oh it is well over fifty years ago now, that a local Fish & Chips shop used to do what they called a scollop, each was a thick slice of potato, dipped in batter and deep fried. A bag of chips with two scollops and a pickled onion and a bit of pickled onion vinegar on the chips was quite a treat.

Back then, gluten in the batter, deep-fried in fat, never even thought about it! Just how it was.

Hello everyone, we are drifting towards the river bank, I think there will be a gentle impact and we will become stationary.

There is going to be a delay in arrivimg in Tournon.

I have radioed for assistance.

A tug will pull us to Tournand and then engineers can try to find the problem and hopefully fix it.
