I've been browsing the forums and you seem a nice bunch, so thought I would introduce myself.
I'm 61 (how did that happen?) and live in London with my partner of 20+ years and a daft black cat. My two sons, now in their 30s, live nearby. No grandchildren, but hopefully that doesn't exclude me from being here!
I work in the City as an Office Manager which I really enjoy and I'm hoping will see me out until retirement. I don't feel ready to stop working just yet.

Luckily my office has very efficient air conditioning (too efficient at times as I often need to add a layer). Also, luckily again, I don't need to use the tube (just a short journey on the overground). Otherwise I would be complaining, as I really hate this heat!
