Argh! Where do lost things go?

I have lost my tweezers. They weren’t expensive but were a lovely shade of pink and lived in the bathroom. They have gone, I know not where. I’ve looked everywhere they could possibly be but cannot find them. A monobrow is now developing - suppose I could just grow my fringe or else go and buy another pair. I know what will happen then, the pink ones will turn up!

Lost things are always in the last place you look

That's what my Dad says

I think he may be onto something because I do have more success looking in places I would not expect them to be lol

I have carefully saved 3 little brass screws to put back now my visitors have gone. Unfortunately I have no idea what device they belong to or why they were removed.

It won't really matter kircubbin because by the time youve figured out what the 3 little screws are for, they'll have vanished when you go back for them!

Katek- missing things have been appropriated by The Borrowers- I thought that everyone knew that !

We went to Ireland on holiday and visited Knock, where I bought a holy card with a picture of St Anthony and a prayer to him. I met up with my mum and aunt and was going to show them what I'd got. I couldn't find it anywhere in my bag. I went back to the shop to buy another and the lady held the card out to me. If left it on the counter and she was chuckling away at it! I've still got the card in my purse now and it was 18 years ago. grin
