Morning Mick and all who follow from cool and dark espana ?? We’re up early as it’s a Sunday school trip....or feels like that?.

Estepona is our latest little outing so Murales and a market at the port before a lishus lunch ? and tinto verano ??

??? sending these along as I read about too many grey days yesterday and ? for all the birthday and anniversaries (even those tinged with sadness need celebrating don’t they?)

Will catch up later if I’m too late back - our friends are party animals ....?‍♀️

Blossoming Sun 04-Sept-22 06:26:14

Good morning Mick and everyone. It’s twilight in my corner of Lancashire, no rain at the moment but showers are forecast. Currently 17°C.

I had a much better night, no stomach problems so slept for a straight 5 hours . Hope it stays that way as we are away for a few days next weekend.

Have the best day possible all, whatever you’re doing??

SunshineSally Sun 04-Sept-22 06:41:51

Good morning Mick and everyone from a n overcast south Hants ?

Blossoming - glad your feeling better today

Yesterday was spent seeing our DS’s family in Portsmouth - so lovely to catch up with and see our DGD who will be 2 next month! Where did that time go! They are expecting their 2nd in November - so an exciting time ahead.

Feeling really tired today so plan to sort out utility room. Clever DH put together the flat back —filing cabinet— unit that will store all the —crap— stuff that is hardly used, which will free up my kitchen cupboards.

Thoughts to those that are in pain and/or are feeling low.

Hugs and ? for you all x

SunshineSally Sun 04-Sept-22 06:44:54

Oh dear - ‘flat back’ should be ‘flat pack’. I need to get the hang of how to use the strike through function!! ?

How I wish there was an edit function! .

Good morning all from a cloudy North Leicestershire where we are expecting rain and thunder over the next few days.

We have had Bertie, Persie and Wolfie overnight and todayas DD3 and her DH are both working. Bertie has a football match which Pa is dealing with and Wolfie has earache which is my area of expertise apparently.

Have a good day all.

Good morning from Oxfordshire, not sure what the weather will do yet. Spent most of yesterday sorting out paperwork for our trip tomorrow, did online forms, phoned the banks and then packed all the other ‘stuff’ that we need, chargers, tablets along with Prescriptions, everything we will need for a 6 month stay, even though we are only away for 3 weeks!
MissOops is house sitting with her dog and will be here later, so I’ve changed some of the beds in case she has friends staying and I’m about to start cleaning and the laundry and I’ve half emptied a wardrobe for her.
Food shop came yesterday so she won’t starve whilst we are away.
Hope everyone has a good day and that the sun shines on us all, even if it’s only metaphorically speaking.???

Ladyleftfieldlover Sun 04-Sept-22 07:16:55

Morning all from West Oxfordshire. I will be going to church later. Then we are trying out a new lunch venue. We have had recommendations so we will see. It’s such a shame that our nearby favourite place had to shut down. They couldn’t get the staff. The rest of the day will be spent reading the Sunday papers. I am not looking forward to my telephone consultation tomorrow with my GPsad I hope everyone has a good Sunday.

Beechnut Sun 04-Sept-22 07:18:42

Good Morning everyone from Severnside. I think it will be metaphorically Oops, it’s very grey here with a few rain spots on the window.

What I do today will depend on the weather. Outside I could go and work under the trees. Another thought I’ve had is to see if I have any wood to make a new slatted seat for one of the garden chairs.

Looking through my photos the other day day I found this Pant.

Have a good day all ?

A very quick good morning from a damp Shipley. Rain overnight. ?
Have enjoyed our short break here apart from disturbed nights - barking & howling dogs, fireworks & then the cockerel took over. Will be glad to get back to my peaceful bit of Sefton. Departing soon. Must get on.

Sago Sun 04-Sept-22 07:23:40

Good morning from Bordeaux.
Fabulous wedding yesterday, celebrations continue with a barbecue this afternoon.
30 degrees and full sun forecast.

monk08 Sun 04-Sept-22 07:36:55

Good morning all from a overcast Black country.
Awake most of the night pain in right side most uncomfortable, have had it a few days but last night was the worst will ring doctors in the morning.
Nothing planned today will try to catch up on sleep.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone whatever your plans and may you all find some ?.

harrigran Sun 04-Sept-22 07:38:49

Good morning from a grey and damp NE.
Family arrived early afternoon and they brought GD's birthday cake for her to cut and share. DIL was ill and did not make the journey. In the evening eight of us travelled to a riverside restaurant for an Italian meal but we had torrential rain so we did not have the views we expected.
DD is travelled home to Brussels today, probably not see her again until Christmas.
SIL will come this afternoon and stay for dinner, think I will make a chicken curry.
This has been a busy week and I have been quite tired, I think the family forget that I am not as young as I used to be.
Enjoy your Sunday.

Pleased to hear the wedding celebrations have gone so well Sago, enjoy the bbq later today and congratulations to the happy couple ?
Another lovely walking day yesterday from Lulworth, up and over some steep cliff tops but well worth it for the stunning views. Luckily we’ve not got wet yet unlike some previous trips We’ve just two more days of walking and then we’re finished

Good morning, yes very dull here in Leicestershire.

Walking and coffee in the woods this morning then home to binge on a new series I am watching as it may rain.

Wishing everyone a good day.

Good morning from sunny Colchester.
A quiet Sunday here.
I'll watch the Laura K show then walk to Aldi for a few bits. DH has gone away fishing and DS returns to work after leave this afternoon, so I'll be alone for a few days....bliss....might actually catch up with things.
Love to all ? x

A very late good morning from a grey Bristol.
So late tha5 I haven’t et read an6 posts; I’ll do that later.
Today is going to be hard - it is a year since my darling Philip died. DD wants to mark it, personally, it is impossible to forget, so an anniversary is totally unnecessary. I’ll do whatever she wants.
We went to peer through the window ps I’d DD’s new vicarage as she doesn’t have a key. There were workmen who let us in. It gave us a good idea of the layout of things, and I was able to advise a little on the garden plants, including a 25 ft bay tree!
Iris went to learn how to ride a bike on a special track and came home with a certificate. It’s the first time in her life she hasn’t been in plater or with ironmongery hampering her. I also think that she has little or no pain.
Carpe diem. ????❤️

Gingster Sun 04-Sept-22 08:05:48

Good morning all and it’s another fine start to the day. Yesterday was really hot and humid again! When will this weather break, here in Essex. ?.

Little DGD came for the afternoon and she was so lovely. We baked cookies, played restaurants and generally had a fun time. She can’t wait to go back to school tomorrow. Her mum sent me a video of her and her dad doing Tai chi in the garden, taking it very seriously! ?.

I bought an air fryer yesterday after researching and reading reviews for days. People I know who have one , say they love theirs and use them all the time ,
so here hoping ?.

DS1 came round to sort out our phone suppliers. Some of them are crooks. They owe us over £100.
Today he is coming round to sort out the SKY bill. ?. You really have to keep an eye on your money and where it’s going! ?.

We will sort out some of the garden pots today and put in some winter pansies and cyclamen. The tubs and hanging baskets have been exceptional this year and are still a mass of blooms. Petunias just go on and on. ???.

I hope you all have a good day. ?

Gingster Sun 04-Sept-22 08:08:25

Thinking if you today GM. What a year you’ve had! ??.

Good morning from an overcast East Yorkshire.

Glad to hear the news from the wedding sago it’s good when the celebrations go on longer than the actual day.

I had a lovely few hours mooching around Beverley yesterday whilst DH watched the lunchtime football match. This time of year though the shops are full of what’s left of summer stuff or the dark colours of autumn clothing which I’m not ready for yet.
I’d had a coffee with DH before I went and we were looking at holidays to Menorca inspired by my chat with shazza . We had spotted 2 and said we can sort it later. In the short journey to the railway station our preferred one had gone so back to the drawing board.

No plans for today as such. We were invited to lunch by DIL but she hadn’t realised that City were playing at home today. DS will be going as a season ticket holder so we’ve postponed until lunch.

Happy walking brook as you carry on on your way.

Take care everyone.

Grandmadinosaur Sun 04-Sept-22 08:16:34

Postponed until next Sunday ?‍♂️
