Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but dry here in brackley this morning .
Apart from breakfasts and taking my prescriptions, a day by the TV .
Although locally some pubs are opening I would prefer to sit at home and watch the proceedings unfold .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning all from Glasgow where the sun is trying to break through to a pleasantly warmer start to the day.

An earlier FaceTime catch up with DD2 in Australia, much less stressed as the wheels are in motion with her insurance company, she now has to decide whether to raze her house or raise it on stilts to avoid further flood damage.

Only plan so far is to make cock-a-leekie soup, a favourite of DD1 and her girls who will be visiting later today. Pleased to hear you enjoyed your time in Paris Maw. Beautiful architecture.

Best wishes to all for a pleasant day

Good morning from a sunny and much warmer East Lothian where we are currently staying, visiting DD2 and family and enjoying a Scottish break.

We travelled west last weekend and went to the refurbished Burrell Collection. A knowledgable guide gave us a tour of some of the stained glass. We visited a friend in Renfrew but were disappointed not to be able to visit Paisley Abbey beforehand, as it is closed on a Monday - I didn’t think of checking.

DD & family are now ‘in the west’ visiting their favourite haunts around Largs and Isle of Cumbrae. We are feeding the cat(s): one is theirs , one is a neglected local cat who always seems to be starving, and the third a perfectly well- nourished one whose nose was put out of joint in his own household when the family acquired a dog. The cat flap here is open to all ?

We are watching the funeral at DDs as we haven’t yet fixed up a television at our flat. They have a big pull down screen and projector but, as yet no blinds on their south facing windows, so it’s handy when a cloud passes across the sun.

I have almost achieved my main aim for the weekend, which is to empty the family laundry basket! The 4th and last load will be out on the line soon.

Thoughts with Gingster’s DD, Grandmatties daughter and family, Greyduster’s nephew and little prem baby. And to all with ongoing or unshared troubles.

Hello and welcome to Wyllow.
