Each day I try to write three things in my gratitude diary that I am truly grateful for, even if down in the dumps or disappointed with something.
What three things would you put in your diary for today?
Mine:-
Went along to music club although tired with a bad back.
Daughter had a big promotion.
Her health scare was unfounded.

1. Thank goodness for Dr John Campbell on Youtube
2. Good neighbours
3. Proud of my sons and all they acheive

My SI joint problem is almost fully resolved.
The days are getting significantly longer.
A whole little gem lettuce plus 100g cucumber is less than 30kcal. (Good to know on a fasting day!)

1. I lost my card wallet - it wasn't in my bag when I went to pay at the supermarket - but thankfully the lady stall-holder in the farmer's market where I had been before had found it and kept it for me.

2.I did my walk today and it didn't rain.

3. I have high bids on something I am selling on ebay!

I walked for an hour in the lovely sunshine.
I got round to doing my dark wash.
My DD sent me a photo of my beautiful GD.

Did my dark wash AND hung it out to dry.
Family member interviewed by TV presenter.
Took dog on extra long walk without either of us getting covered with mud!

My little dog ate her breakfast, having refused food for a couple of days.
Leeds United beat Southampton.
Packing for our upcoming trip to England - home at last!

Lovely idea

1. Happy I managed to finally unpack and clean everything in my new kitchen.
2. Glad to speak with good friends today.
3. Grateful my husband took dogs for long walk and then brought me coffee in bed 😊😊

Feeling that demonstrating for a cause may make s difference.
I met someone new and we had a coffee together after the demo.
Feeling grateful that I have family that keeps in touch.

In a bit less pain
snowdrops still in bloom and some miniture daffodils to enjoy
a great afternoon watching the rugby, both matches. Miss the times we used to have a houseful watching it and a party atmosphere, but even on my own it was great to watch and gave me the chance to yell and shriek and for the neighbours not to think I have gone mad!!

Marg75 Sat 25-Feb-23 21:33:32

Thankful for DH who cooked breakfast this morning which I had in bed!

Daffodils in the garden and in the house.

We can pay a £3,400 bill for roof problems.

6 nations match (Ireland/Italy) was good to watch.

Chemist had prescription meds ready for collection.

My Mum asked for a big ball of multi-coloured wool. I found just the thing in a charity shop.

DD calling to arrange a family outing for next Saturday.

I’m grateful to our two teenagers for entering so wholeheartedly into the play world of their young autistic cousin.
