Good Morning Everyone,
Its still dark here in brackley this morning but remains dry .
A small local early shop to get some items planning for the weekend .
I will do my usual trip to Bicester on the bus , paying the £2 single fare which will expire nationally at the end of June.
Take Care,
Mick

Late Good Morning to one and all. Had to go into town to chase up my prescriptions as I shall run out during the Bank Holiday weekend, and our surgery and Boots pharmacy are not known for being speedy . Should be ready tomorrow 🤞

We had coffee out, and shared a table with another couple. The husband has dementia and likes his routine of coffee, toast and marmalade, when in our small Waitrose.

Have also just seen that GrandMattie, has passed her interview. Phew, well done and here's hoping the moving in date comes soon.

i have enjoyed reading all your posts. It is good afternoon from north yorks and am glad to be inside as it is raining and very chilly outside. Arranged with a friend to go for a pub lunch today, we had a voucher for 30% off mains and also had decided to have it as our easter outing. No doubt everywhere will be very busy from Friday onward, so we thought this would be a good idea. The lunch was fine but we know they do not do very good coffee so we left there and went on to our local Cafe Nero, where we had a treat of an apricot danish and coffee. It seems to be one of the few places that the danish does taste like a danish and not a poor copy of it. They know me there and are very good about bringing things over to the table for me , and today am very creaky and especially wrists and hands for some unknown reason so glad of the help. So had a happy time and am content to be at home this pm, as the queues to everywhere get bigger. Enjoyed the lovely weather for the past two days and so the rain will be giving the garden a good soaking which is good. Hope all your plans work out and you have a good afternoon

Thank you folks and that's the last two thirds, no wonder I need a gardener.

Phew and what a relief, GMattie

Lovely garden Wyllow
What a relief gMattie !
Thanks Kalu yes having a great GP is a blessing.
It used to be that familiar people retired as they were older than me.
Now they retire when they look young enough to be my children!
