Glad to hear that MrC is through his operation and Cornergran and DS can visit him tomorrow. I hope she has a good sleep tonight.
Forgive my absence, we've had a sad time in the family, poor Granddog was diagnosed with a tumour and was PTS today. 😥 I said NNGB to him for the last time yesterday. I know that many have much greater worries, and he was just a dog, but he really was a grand dog.
I'll try to catch up with everyone's news soon, TOYA.

Charleygirl thank you for the update on Mr. C. I hope Cornergran managed to sleep. Grannmarie I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. I've loved three dogs dearly and they were part of my family. A dog is always glad to see you and is a companion. Of course you will miss him.

Yay...onwards and upwards now for a speedy recovery for MrC and some calmness for you Corner after the traumas of the last few..it's on..it's off ..weeks.
Grandmarie...I feel for you. It's never just a dog. They share our lives and and before I meet DOH my dogs lifted my spirits daily when I was at my lowest. I firmly believe we will see them again... How could it be heaven without them there!!!.
I've got loads to do today...I don't think my feet touch the ground again until August 13th...

Nurse cleaned the laceration. Not to shampoo hair until a proper scab has formed. Is arranging for me to have an alarm thingy...just in case something similar happens when I'm home alone.

I am back home after a lovely week with my D.
We haven’t spent so much time alone together for many years and it was good.
She decided to drive straight home after delivering me home.
It took her seven and three quarter hours to drive here last Friday but she decided to chance it today, I hope she is ok.

Soop I am thinking very seriously about the alarm thingy for myself, my pride must be swallowed and I must accept I am an old lady.
Also in the immediate future is a mobility scooter.
I had my Walker with me this week but I still struggled.

Not for wimps this ageing

Must start to unpack and sort myself out now.
Still thinking of the Corners and Grannmarie pets are very special.

Grandmarie so very sorry to hear of your granddog.They do become part of the family I feel for you.
We are staying at our sons this week to look after our granddog I treat him like my own so I know how you feel.
We are only a couple of miles away from home so will go back each day to get on with the clearing out!We went back to the apartment yesterday for measuring up etc.We were able to meet the vendor and he is happy to move whenever so that helps.
Think it will be a takeaway tonight, Chinese would be nice.

Losing a pet is upset , they are part of our family and take a little bit of our heart with them.

Good afternoon all, another day of dusting, sweeping, sorting and shredding. I’ve been for a shower to get the dust off and Mr.B is making fish and chips for tea. I came across my old project notebook from when I was working in Paris. Bittersweet memories, the lovely friend I made there died after complications following breast cancer surgery. We had such a lovely time and many laughs! My handwriting was so neat and tiny, not like the scrawl it is now.

So sorry to hear of your loss Grannmarie, our pets are precious members of our family.

Hope Cornergran has been able to sleep and MrC is doing well.

Great harvest Jax, I feel like an explorer when I’m kitting myself out for my walks! Every day is a learning experience and an adventure.

I’ve had another lovely day, gym and coffee with a pal this morning and then DGD has been round this afternoon so we’ve finished all the board games and the conservatory table has now been reclaimed. The weather has been great today too, lots of warm sunshine, makes you feel so much better. DGS should be home from ScotJam soon, probably exhausted and in need of a very good wash 🤣

I built the toy storage this morning. It's slightly wobbly but ok. Then I got cracking sorting out the redundant toys. Dd invited me up for a cuppa then I picked up my pal who was coming to my house for coffee. She jumped at some of the toys as she has two ggc and can use them. So everyone was happy. I then visited mum and she was very wandered today. Home now and waiting for my sweet and sour chicken. Have a good evening Kitcheners.
