Thank you! Great to be here. So I'm from Yorkshire and live with my husband. Working part time - 4 days and around 5 years left to work.
We have 3 children who are scattered around the country and my daughter who is the furthest and partner have 2 boys 4 and 6. Although it's been a couple of years at least I'm struggling with an empty nest and feeling a bit lonely. So..

I hopeMick has the right date for his appointment!
Not a date I will forget as DH and I were married 53years ago today in pouring rain and a howling gale in St Andrew’s.
Fortunately it faired up (eventually) for our reception at Fernie Castle and the stormy start was a good omen for the happy if not uneventful 47 years we had together .
With kind thoughts especially to Corner, Urms and Kalu and all who know whereof I speak 💔

Late visit this morning. Cut and colour first this morning hotly followed by Sainsbury’s delivery. Just having lunch and reading your posts. Sun shining here in Co Durham, but forecast is for rain later.
Had a nice meal yesterday evening, it’s turning into a regular Monday treat.
