Went to fill up car ..a monthly chore...to see the price of petrol has sneaked up again...Why?? few weeks ago the price of petrol has dropped but the garages/suppliers have not passed on the decrease in cost..anyone else noticed this??
Food costs...am seeing no decrease in prices...perhaps I'm not shopping economically ..
Still waiting on NHS referral appointments - too exhausted to say more
Oh ..the heatwave..great for my new raspberry plant..but am hiding indoors as cannot cope!
Getting home from a lovely European city break and finding we all have Covid grrrrrrrrr
My one and only credit card was blocked because it was close to the expiry date (end of October) they said that they had sent me a new one last February (?????) as we hadn’t received it they said they would send me a replacement card.
I’ve waited 2 weeks for a card, it finally arrived today, new number.
Expires this October………….
I contacted them and they said firstly they hadn’t sent a card in February ( someone is telling porky pies) and a new one will be sent nearer to the expiry date.
So why did they cancel my original card then?
He wouldn’t or couldn’t say.
Grrrrrrrrr
Despite our flight being cancelled this morning (going tomorrow instead) funnily enough, nothing! I don’t know what’s wrong with me - must have mislaid my Grumpy Old Bag hat.
The ice cream van that plays, ‘Just One Cornetto’ over and over again all afternoon. I like to listen to Classic FM when I’m gardening or settle down on a sun lounger with a good book. It drives me mad and just when I think he’s gone, there it is again.
Why oh why can’t he change the tune? 😂

I'm annoyed by the numbers coming over on the dinghies and all the money being spent on putting them up in hotels etc.
It is not money that would have been spent on building social housing/filling in potholes in your road/replacing your hip/protecting your grandchildren from failing school buildings. This money is from the Overseas Aid budget. Not that Farage of Sunak will tell you that, of course.
I’ve complained in supermarkets about this saying they should put it on the tannoy, but nothing gets done ,and usually if you say anything to the driver you get a load of abuse, in my opinion it’s selfish and thoughtless.
It is, Lesley60, and I’m so sorry you have to put up with this. We had a wonderful manager in the Asda near where I worked who would always announce offenders’ number plates over the tannoy, and tell them to move their car because they were preventing people with disabilities from being able to shop. There should be more like her.
Nothing is annoying me at the moment.
I m annoyed with your lack of compassion notsonicenanny
Volvo. Our 4 year old Volvo has broken down for 2nd time this year. The latest breakdown would appear to be related to work they did before but they deny this. We have been waiting seven days for a part, 9 days without a car. So many broken promises NEVER buy a Volvo

Yes, and she was not the only one. It made me feel uncomfortable.
Eddiecat78 unbelievable, or maybe not.

Yes, despicable and sad.
Haha and I thought the kids had gone back to school already seems some are on GN, notsonicenanny really sounds like something my daughter would say about her friends if she had fallen out with them, gave me a little chuckle 😊

If the cap fits….
Well luckily I don’t think you have too many admirers on this thread, you can laugh your spiteful remark off if you want but you made it and it certainly weren’t pleasant
Keep on chuckling

Agreed, BlueBelle - and laughing at people taking you to task instead of engaging with their viewpoint isn’t exactly the ‘mature’ approach, is it?
Good grief grow up will you it's a thread about rants and that was my rant. I'll repeat it again. Or are you trying to turn this thread into something else ie personal your obvious dislike of me.

My rant, neighbours either side of me ruining the area. From the left horrendous noise during the night, banging and using kitchen equipment, letting ivy run rampant along our shared fence. When asked him about cutting it down shrugged his shoulders and said I would need a good pair of shears.
On the right large amount of kids toys, shoes, pushchairs, child seat. Dont want to mention the back garden, and tying a washing line to my down pipe. Large weed area on front intruding onto my drive, both patriarchal households, one has a foul temper. Both tenants. Feel isolated and without help.
Usual sort of stuff, people who are walking in front and come to a dead halt to examine phone, they need indicators fitted I've come to the conclusion. Similarly, coming towards you engrossed in phone so the onus is on you to manoeuvre around them. People who have conversations in shop door ways or at the bottom of escalators, no spacial awareness!! At my health club, people who get in the pool just to talk, stand at the end of pool, so they're in the way when turning to do another length, or they swim with a mate talking so it's hard to overtake, why do some go swimming to chat beats me takes all my breath to just swim
I mean there is a cafe to go and have a coffee and chat
Any chance of moving Freay5?
That would get to me too.
As they are tenants, can you have a word with the landlord, Freya? I know some won't care, but others might want to encourage good relationships with neighbours as they can also alert landlords to behaviour which could reduce the value of the houses they rent out.
The endless NHS waiting lists feel like we are being forced to pay for private treatments.
So glad I have not been forced to leave my country because my life is in danger. If I was in so much fear that the best alternative was to risk a Channel crossing I hope I would be met with compassion on arrival.
Just feeling grateful for my safe country …. And am Indian Summer

No not really, who would want to live next door to that, one side is bad enough, but two, and as my son says, you can't let them drive you out of your home, paid for. Other neighbours are lovely, and empathise but that's it really. No one wanting to be involved . My only option is landlords. As I've already complained to the tenants, they'll know its me,. Thank-you for replying.
