The M&S Christmas mittens ad is bonkers.

Well I like the Amazon Ad.
I have photos of me with one grandson and Dh with other sledging down a big hill in the snow . 🛷 🛷
Will be doing it again if it snows ❄️🌨️

My grandsons like Venus fly traps , I had one a few years ago in our conservatory.

I suppose JL wanted to do something a bit different this time, but I'm not overly impressed.
I think the Amazon one is good.

Amazon is best of a bad bunch I feel.

I could not watch the Rocky Horror film and this is surely a take off. Revolting things stories about plants which eat or strangle people and if they include next year squid or clowns that’s me done.

I have only seen the JL advert and that was courtesy of Sky News. What happened to the lovely Christmassy ads? Now they seem to have to send a message of some sort (and not the traditional Christmas one). I remember from my childhood ‘tick-a-tick Timex’ and ‘Tom Thumb cigars in tins of ten’ (ok, they couldn’t be advertised now) - Christmas ads that I still recall over 65 years later. Then some years ago there were the M&S extravaganza ads with Shirley Bassey. Who can say they will remember the ads of today in years to come? Or even that they feel Christmassy? Remember I have only seen the JL ad so far.
