It’s not the Rocky Horror Shop Stansgran I think you’re getting mixed up - it’s The Little Shop of Horrors with the plant Seymour calls Audrey 2.

J. Lewis advert didn’t really do anything for me. Then nor do any of the others.
Like others have said , bring back the real Christmassy adverts.

I expect I will be proved wrong, but I don't think the furry Venus Fly Trap toys will sell well in Waitrose. My local branch has a large display of them.

The best was the 2 snowmen! Mr Snowman battling roads and mountains to reach the shop to purchase a warm pair of gloves and hat for Mrs Snowman ⛄️

Mr and Mrs Snowman was the best JL ad I remember - before they decided the ads had to have a ‘message’ rather than just being Christmassy.

If only they would shown the old ones again. Maybe they would have to pay royalties...but hey what a treat for us all

I just watched, it...meh. Cute kid, but the ad doesn't give you the warm holiday glow.

I also saw the Amazon one, and it definitely did! Very touching.

People have been talking about the Christmas adverts for years. I remember being very exited when Woolworths appeared with Leslie Crowther and other famous people of the time.

Amazon has taken the crown from John Lewis. They have been producing some beauties. The lockdown one with the beautiful ballerina . The Show Must Go On.

I’m not fussed on either the JL or Amazon adverts, this is my favourite so far this year. From Barbour.
