I think so.

I have to agree with Lucy Mangan in The Guardian:
“This Diana-obsessed series is the very definition of bad writing. Despite the brilliant cast, it’s a crass, soapy dive into the abyss – not least in the atrocious scenes featuring Ghost Diana”.

I can’t believe I loved this Netflix drama. I waited avidly for each new series. The 50’s and 60’s years especially.

Now? I’m done with it.

I haven't seen much of The Crown but decided to watch it yesterday out of curiosity. I was amazed at how much I liked it.
It's definitely padded out with a lot of made up stuff, but I thought the performances were good. Especially Diana.
But I'm sad that The Queen was made out to be so cold and unfeeling. She wasn't like that, was she...I hope.

PS. And who was in charge of the casting? They got it completely wrong for the Queen Mother.

They are even portraying William and Harry being told of the death of their mother, brutal

Yes. Those events were best left alone I think. The series should have ended before that tragedy really.
