We waited until the engagement before we indulged!(easier for me than him!)I was "entitled" to being on the pill, being an engaged lady! Plus I definitely didn't want to risk a pregnancy! Also as an added "no no"I was brought up with the" nice girls didn't ".I was 21 at the time and" it"happened when we were on holiday. We were staying with his aunt and uncle.Separate rooms for DH(then)and I but when they left for work, himself visited and we did the deed.I was an "innocent" virgin. He,d had a teenage girlfriend before me whom he lost his to. She DIDN'T need a ring or the pill .I was told, much later no other method was used either.I insisted on "back up".I must have been thorough!!Can't say it was earthshattering but it was nice to be" close ".Anyone else have good or bad memories of their" first time "?

By the way all you "condemners"gn did an expert forum on this very subject in 2016.It included the statement" we are products of the swinging 60,s!

I wasn’t on herein 2016. It doesn’t change my view that asking people for their personal sexual experiences is very unsavoury, as is relating your own first sexual experience and that of your husband with another girl. Do you have no boundaries? Do you not care what your husband and his former girlfriend would think about what you have written?

I did not have sex before marriage, and not much after, either. Are you surprised I’m divorced 😂

Marydoll Sun 07-Jan-24 18:24:01

My husband would be horrified if I shared such information, because it is PERSONAL and PRIVATE

Jaxjacky Sun 07-Jan-24 18:47:44

It’s not my place to judge the OP on this platform, I just choose to keep my experiences to myself.

My first time was late in high school. I was going out with a girl at my school and we wagged a school day and went to my house where I knew no one would be home. We used my father's room and after removing our school clothes and enjoyed playing with each other's bodies we had sex 3 times with no protection. I think the stress involved for her made the act a bit of an anticlimax but I certainly found a new attraction for the fairer sex

Well at least someone is in the 21st century! Thank you Bobcat68!

We are old, not dead!! I think a bit of spice to keep the interest in life doesn't hurt anyone

Germanshephardsmum: I have actually spoken to the ex gf some time ago. We,re not exactly "friends"but we do speak occasionally. She is not" online "so cannot follow gn.DH is aware of my posting and doesn't mind. It's annonymous!

And you are of course aware that threads /posts from GN appear on Facebook and have in the past even featured in newspapers such as the Daily Mail?
What is this urge to publicise your sexual experiences in the past or perhaps (why not) now?
Your curiosity is prurient and in poor taste.
( prurient - having or encouraging an excessive interest in sexual matters, especially the sexual activity of others.

No-one is disputing that.

However, some of find this curiosity about other's sex lives strange and as RosiesMaw says, prurient.

And presumably male?

Germanshepherdsmum Sun 07-Jan-24 20:42:21

Strange that the ex gf is not online when that’s how your husband reconnected with her and arranged to meet up …
And I’m amazed that your husband knows about this post and the detail about his experience with his ex …

I wondered if perhaps this thread would be an argument instead of just a scroll on by if you didn't want to share

I had 5 children before I was engaged too or married their father lol

Allsorts Sun 07-Jan-24 20:54:06

Nothing to do with you or anyone else.

Iam64 Sun 07-Jan-24 20:55:25

It isn’t an argument. It’s irritated the majority (including me) so we are expressing that.

Mel1967 Sun 07-Jan-24 21:23:01

Yes and it was rubbish

Sago Sun 07-Jan-24 21:24:42

Just popped on to see this thread, I am with all the posters who think this is intrusive.

Why would you ever want to know a strangers must intimate moments?

Why would you ever divulge such moments?

I am not clutching my pearls.

Galaxy Sun 07-Jan-24 21:34:31

It isnt an argument, it's people pointing out boundaries and not cheering on males/sockpuppets getting their thrills.
