and come and finish off all the half eaten boxes of chocolates and sweets.

There are Matchsticks, Thorntons, Hotel Chocolate Gingerbread chocolates, jelly babies, Elizabeth Shaw mints, sour kittens and a trifle bowl full of mixed Heroes type things.

I have managed to keep my weight steady over the Christmas period but.......

Ooooh I would love the Thornton chocolates. Problem is I cannot stop once I have started.

Patsy70 Thu 18-Jan-24 15:08:22

Oh, can I share mine too?

NannyJan53 Thu 18-Jan-24 15:11:02

All our chocolates have gone, bar a box of Turkish Delight!

silverlining48 Thu 18-Jan-24 15:11:43

Very happy to take the pralines off you but would leave all the rest for someone else. Thanks. 🤩

Grandmadinosaur Thu 18-Jan-24 15:16:00

I have 3 boxes needing eating up too 😕

Pantglas2 Thu 18-Jan-24 15:52:24

Be with you shortly Kitty 😋 (not a regular choccy chomper but when I want some, I want lots…)

Grannybags Thu 18-Jan-24 15:55:41

I’ve somehow managed to put on more weight after Christmas than over the festive period!

Such hard work finishing off all the chocs and cake so I can start my diet…😂

Wheniwasyourage Thu 18-Jan-24 16:09:25

I’m happy to help with anything but fruity soft centres. Just finding my bus pass then I’ll be along.

Debbi58 Thu 18-Jan-24 16:17:03

We're lucky , my daughters a teacher . Anything leftover goes into the staff room. Doesn't last long in there 😂

Auntieflo Thu 18-Jan-24 16:19:38

The Elizabeth Shaw mints would be most welcome here.

dustyangel Thu 18-Jan-24 16:19:50

I was pleased when we finally finished off all the Christmas goodies including a second stash that had been out of sight. Guess what, three times when DH has been taken to the shops he’s managed to find “the last box” of cherry liqueurs.
Obviously a husband to cherish but not at all good for getting back to healthier eating.
Hopefully they will be sold out soon.

Theexwife Thu 18-Jan-24 16:21:55

I can help but have half a tin of shortbread to finish first.

grumppa Thu 18-Jan-24 16:23:02

Has DH fallen down on the job?

Bella23 Thu 18-Jan-24 16:25:31

We had nearly worked our way through and would have given a hand and then there was birthday last week and lots of goodies arrived again.

Callistemon21 Thu 18-Jan-24 17:16:57

I'll help you!

Gingerbread chocolates? Yes please.
You can give the Jelly Babies to someone else.

We do have shortbread, assorted chocolate biscuits (a gift) left over plus some Hallowe'en Haribos to get rid of 🙂

Hotel Chocolat Gingerbread for me please! Thanks ever so. smile

You could have left me just one, argymargy 😯

Parsley3 Thu 18-Jan-24 17:22:56

I ate the last champagne truffle today. Four After Eights and half a tin of shortbread to go. I can help with those jelly babies though. Waste not etc.

Lomo123 Thu 18-Jan-24 17:51:36

I can throw in. Lily O, Briens chocolates, 2 boxes, Dairy Box 2 boxes, 4 boxes assorted shortbread, Lindy assorted packets. OH works in Sainsbury's and they're down to silly prices. I keep saying stop bringing them home, to be told they're for him. So tempting when they're sitting in full view every time I open cupboard!.
