Good Morning Everyone,
Its a dark and wet start to the day here in brackley this morning.
Yesterday , had its problems as to shopping , in Bicester it was a case of queing up to use self checks as some were down, and even when using not functioning fully as there was a computer glitch.
Otherwise as normal , today a day at home with TV and housework including laundry .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from a grey, damp NE.
DS and GD2 arrived at lunchtime yesterday, ate a meal and went for a walk.
DIL and GD1 had gone to Leeds University for an open day. They were on the train from Durham to York and they said the Newcastle fans were drunk and very loud. They paid for another ticket to return on an earlier train so they did not have to repeat the experience.
GD2 told me all about her trip to a wild animal park during the week, she had lots of photos and one in particular interested me, it was a Binturong. They had also been meeting pythons, shudder, she was totally unfazed while her friend had a fit of the vapours.
We discussed her trip to France next week and then said she was going to Minorca with her friend in August. Her friend is an only child and GD has been invited to join them by the parents. I think they will have a great time, they are two lovely girls.
Have a great break Urmston and do bring some warmth back with you.

Good morning from South Lanarkshire (baubles you’ve had a big chunk of day before I got started!)

Just wanted to say Bon Voyage to Urms. You’re a brave lady accepting a new challenge, your dear clever man will be so proud of you as well as pleased that he can give you this gift.

Glad you’re feeling better Mizuna and wishing everyone a nice Sunday.

Good drizzly morning also from Durham. DH didn’t have a good night,in fact I think 5.30 am is livelier in our house than any other time of the day. I’ve been creeping about so as to let him sleep on and have ordered thermal tights and thermal longjohns from m'ns for our trip to Iceland. Thermal longjohns are possibly the most unglamorous outfit known to man. No roast dinner today as we have the left over Carbonnade Which Isn’t Quite Right to eat up.

Another one here who would like to say I hope you enjoy your well deserved break in the sun Urms. I can understand how you have a mixture of emotions, but how wonderful that your husband is encouraging you to go. What a lovely kind man he is.
Will the ladies who wine be there?!

GrandMattie I was pleased to see you back and sounding less anxious about the awful scam.
It was thoughtful of you to be honest about it on here as we all need to be aware of just how plausible these scammers can be.

Good morning from a very wet East Midlands. Not much planned for today after a busy day yesterday. Happy St Patricks Day to everyone. Have the best day that you can.

Good morning from the Boggy Brae. Very low cloud has lifted a bit.

Already I have ironed, including three of BTDD's summer dresses that I brought home. We'll need some actual hot weather for me to wear them. I live in hope.

Just sitting down with a cuppa and one chocolate and then I must pot the baby Field Maple tree that my workmates gave me for DD remembrance.

Good day wishes to all 🦩🦩
