Good evening dear Kitcheners. It’s been a beautiful warm and sunny day here. I have good news and bad news. The good news is I am recovering rapidly from the bug that struck me on Friday. I have been out for a walk and have been sitting and smelling the roses and watching the river flow. There are lush banks of wildflowers along the river and the footpath. The bad news is I was almost home when I fell over. I overbalanced when taking a photo. Several lovely kind people came to help me up, check I was OK and make sure I got home safely. My only injury is a skinned elbow and wounded pride. MrB is refusing to let me leave the house without a full set of armour, I will have to fight for my freedom again! Anyway, here is one of the beautiful roses that grow in profusion next to my riverside sitooterie. Not sure if this one is a native but it’s lovely.
Your mishap sounds far worse than mine Neine, what a dreadful experience! Your injuries look so painful, I hope any necessary surgery happens soon.
So sorry for the loss of your niece Baggs, such a blow. A young woman who seemingly had it all. Can we ever really know how someone is feeling?
Sending love and strength to all going through difficult times ♥️
