Oh the sheer agony of such an event, Baggs. I am so sorry for your entire family. Xxx
AIBU to wish toilet cubicles were a decent size.

Oh the sheer agony of such an event, Baggs. I am so sorry for your entire family. Xxx
Sorry to hear you have fallen Blossoming I hope you recover quickly
Oh Jax poor you, I hope it’s all ok now
I love the picture grandmabatty you really are very talented
A houseful here again , DD2 and the DGC arrived mid afternoon and I’ve not sat down until now 🤦♀️
‘Evening All’.
We are just home from a curry evening en famille. It was lovely. Great food and company. I laughed when the heated small towels arrived in a basket at the end of the meal with the bill. Our (witty) younger daughter said to the Boy Wonder and L’il Miss “have a good face wash kids … there’s no showering tonight”!
🤣
Baggs so sorry for your family. What a dreadful shock for you all on top of everything else.
Oh heck blossoming. You didn’t need that. We have a friend prone to falling, our advice to her has been to find a blow up suit so she bounces. A thought?
.
Lovely day here too jax, hope no more nose bleeds to remind you of a difficult time.
The family curry sounds wonderful urm. Sadly our lot aren’t local enough to make such things easy.
I’ll own to envy of your talent grandmab. Playing Pictionary with me requires the ability to mind read, my images rarely resemble anything at all. Seriously my inability to put what’s I see or what’s on my head onto paper has been a life long frustration.
Off to bed now. Goodnight everyone. Sleep tight.
Baggs Such tragic news. My sincerest condolences to all your family. Your own family have had so much to deal with already this year. Keep strong and positive. Gentle hugs and warmest vibes.
Oh Baggs I was so sorry to hear your news and which struck a cord with me.
I have just made it to the kitchen after a busy few days with DD and the babies. DGD was sleeping through the night and now isn’t! Teething or her jabs last week? DGS is 21 months and practicing to be a 2 year old. When tired or hungry he can throw a pretty good tantrum! They have gone and we have collapsed. SiL is on long shifts again next weekend - are you free Mum ? 🤣
Meanwhile DS phoned - are you free tomorrow night to have the children and take them to school?
We love seeing so much of them all. They will grow up so quickly.
Such sad news in the kitchen over the weekend. I’m sending my love to Neine, Baggs and her family and Blossoming.
Sleep well everyone.
Also, my thoughts are with Nanny4G
Love to you ALL.... Nothing much to report, more of the same really.
Thinking of everyone who is sad, suffering and has worries..... We're here for each other.. The kitchen certainly keeps me going....
nannyg, baggs, and neine. Thinking of you all
.
I should be asleep, so frustrated I’m not! Goodnight again everyone.
Oh Baggs... What a very sad to thing to happen to your family so soon after your own bereavement. In this day and age of technology allowing us to talk to one another more easily than ever before how tragic that your niece couldn't share what was happening. God bless her and may she rest in peace. I will pray for her and all of you her family too.
Blossoming...I hope you are ok.... Please everyone don't feel the need to join the Blossoming/Neine trend of throwing yourself onto hard surfaces😂
NannyG4... Sending you a hug. It's so hard to see a loved one struggle. I hope you DH finds peace soon.
NannyT... Good luck with all the little ones...I know it's tiring but it's so rewarding.
Urms... Happy precious times.
Thank you for all your lovely good wishes. I am still in hospital. I have spectacular bruising...DOH came in yesterday with a very sexy slightly unshaven look...I did not look sexy but matched him with the shaded look. 🤣. I am walking with a frame and have a seriously fetching ( not) black splint which when looking from above looks as if Darth Vader is climbing up my leg ( I know....I need to get out more). Anyway I am not going to let this slow me down more than I have to...DOH bless him said I'd have to behave myself... there is an expression that made me giggle when I first heard it but seems so appropriate....'There is more chance of getting manure out of a rocking horse'.
All that I need to say is...my thoughts and love goes out to our dear Kitcheners with sorrows to bear. If I could, I would take your pain away.
Good afternoon kitchen pals, it’s a gorgeous warm sunny day here in Inverness although a bit windy
Thinking of you nannyG4
Hoping you’re both feeling much better soon neine and blossoming
A busy day here, DD2 and the DGC all stayed over last night (no idea why they just decided to 🤦♀️) so it’s been a tidying up morning and getting the washing done. I’ve also been in the garden trying to win the battle of the weeds. DH is out at work so I’m just sitting now with my lunch and a cuppa
Take care all and thoughts with everyone going through sad and difficult times just now x
Please can someone send me a quick kick up the a..e? I meant to do so much today but it just hasn’t happened and it’s school pick up in an hour …
Didn’t help that next door’s dog started barking at 6.30am, interspersed with howls. He quieted down at about midday. 😡
Oh nannytopsy I know that feeling well!
Dear Baggs I am so sorry to read of your devastating news.
Hi all a quiet kitchen, some I know have heart ache right now, NannyG4 Baggs Urms x
We’ve had a lovely afternoon in West Bay Dorset and sat outside for dinner, I’m now tired, all that sea air.
Not sure of plans tomorrow, but we’ll be out and about somewhere and eating somewhere, holiday indulgences.
I hope you’ve fully recovered Blossoming and you * neine* whilst not ‘fixed’ have a plan of action.
Have a gentle rest of your evening.
Good evening dear Kitcheners, I heartily endorse your advice Neine, tarmac surfing and stone/brick kneeing and head butting are not advisable! I hope your injuries are not so painful today.
I have done very little today, been chasing the plumber, he has said he will check his diary and let me know when he can come and see what needs doing. I don’t want to look for yet another plumber as this one has been recommended by quite a few people in this area. Of course this means he is busy, so I’ll wait a bit longer. I have already been let down by a couple of people. Why is it so difficult to get hold of a reliable tradesperson these days?
Love to you all ♥️
Good things are going well Urms .
Thinking of NannyG
Neine hope you feel better soon.
Sending you love and hugs Baggs, I am so sorry x
Good evening Soop and lovely Kitchen people. 🥰
I'm trying to keep up with your news, hoping the Soops, Neine, Blossoming and all who are under the weather are feeling a bit better today, wishing Jaxjacky, SueD and all on holiday a relaxing time, sending best wishes for energy to Nannytopsy and all the Grans helping with childcare and keeping Doodle and NannyG4 and her DH in my thoughts and prayers. Hoping Cornergran gets a good sleep tonight. 😴Glad to hear Urms' good news and happy family times. Grandmabatty, your artwork is beautiful, you are a very talented lady. I'm so glad that you could revisit your passion in recent years. Brook, lovely to hear that your DD and GC stayed with you, thank goodness you are nearby.
Forgive me if I haven't mentioned you by name but I have read all your news now and I'm thinking of you all.
We had a great day out in Mijas Pueblo, one of our favourite places on Costa del Sol. We bought leather purse/ wallet for DGD and DGS1 and a Ronaldo football strip for the Wee Boy. He's already got a Messi one cos his Daddy takes him to football training on Saturday mornings! 🤣 Then we enjoyed tapas and people watching in the sun, visited the wee Chapel beside the superb viewpoint ( mirador) of the coast. We were transported there and back by comfy taxis with ramps for DH's mobility scooter so he didn't have to collapse it. Anything which saves strain is most welcome these days. We're now sitting on our balcony with my favourite tunes playing softly in the background on my Kindle Alexa. We're very thankful.
Take care, NNGB.
Granmarie your day sounds perfect, I’m so glad you’re able to relax.
Hello kitchen people! So much happening in the kitchen today. We’ve been extracting honey and think there will be 20 jars tomorrow when we finish off. It tastes delicious..
