Just been told off by the dishwasher monitor!

My fridge freezer chastises me if I leave the door open.

It seems to be common theme that men seem to think that they are the only ones who can load the dishwasher correctly. Mr. M is always telling me that I do it wrongly and should watch him and learn. I simply cannot understand how my inferior method seems to get everything clean so well.

Mine can't load probably and never unloads it. If I'm out for the day will wash be hand and leave on the drainer. Don,t rinse though just scrape leftovers into bin (or dogs bowl) & place crockery in dishwasher.

What is it with men and dishwashers!!! So pleased I'm not alone. They can get on with it as far as I'm concerned, life's too short.

Think you could do psychological profiling on using the dishwasher.
My DH has only put 1 plate in ever.
I think he thinks they are designed to make women lazy.
And he doesn't understand them at all.
However, he does now empty it for me but doesn't always check things have been cleaned properly.
My DD who lives with us has very strong ideas on how it should be done. And repacks my attempt often.

A young child got impaled on an upturned knife in a dishwasher and died as a result. I remember it from several years ago.

I don't have any strong feelings about how a dishwasher is loaded as long as nothing gets broken and the dishes come out clean. it's a job I would be happy to do regularly if required. My OH however claims that there is only one way to load a dishwasher and he knows what it is. If I loaded it he would only redo it so I leave it to him !!!

We have a cutlery drawer - love it.

I reorganise ours and have to empty as he puts everything in the wrong place and I can’t find them.

I was informed that I was not spacing the breakfast bowls sufficiently in the dishwasher. Apparently this was advice my DH had gleaned from the Dull Mens Club! Need I say more
