The Sunday market thread

There's a Sunday market near me that does a roaring trade and people come here specially for it. Shopping's never been my thing but I pop over occasionally, quite a few families there. I wonder how long this will last-it's a thread about a thread. It's A GN No No!

People regularly visit markets such as the Columbia Road flower market or Petticoat Lane in London, or farmers’ markets, but they don’t spend the day there every week with all their family!

I really dislike how any new poster is suspected to be somehow scamming or 'having a go', or a student on holiday.

If you don't like a post then just don't get involved. This makes me understand how other find Gransnet to be a closed club.
