My husband will not part with a particularly dreadful pair of underpants. I call them his 'Nottings' - reference to Spike's underpants in the film, Notting Hill.

Not sure why but my sister calls her underwear her ' particulars'!!!!

I believe policemen amongst others , are known to “take down a persons particulars! “ 🤣🤣🤣
