Good morning, Michael and all GNs from a very wet, grey, windy South Yorkshire. Yesterday a lovely family meal and nice to have it light enough for DD and I to have a walk after tea.
I have an annual health check at the surgery this morning, followed by a hair cut, then pick up some fence paint I ordered on line.
A very happy birthday Grandmattieππ
Have the best day you can, folks.

Thank you for the sunshine over the weekend Pant. I was able to do a lot of weeding.
Have a good day all. Back to these Iβm afraid βοΈ
Good morning from Sefton. Weather is back to normal here - wet, windy & cold. βΉοΈ
Had a good mooch round M&S & JL yesterday & a nice lunch. But had to wait 1/2 for the train as we forgot it was Sunday service. Another 1/2 wait on our return as DH's watch was slow & we just missed the train. Sigh. Singing this morning & a hair appointment this afternoon.
Happy birthday gMattie. My birthday also today, I am 75. (Shock, horror!) I had a lovely family lunch on Saturday & a 'day out' in town yesterday - a rare occurrence. It has been a pleasant weekend.
Have a good day all.

Good morning from a bright Suffolk. I must be late up as there are lots of posts ahead of mine. I havenβt read them yet but they look, from a quick glance, full of busyness yesterday and today.
Iβm off to Ipswich to meet a friend and another on the train to celebrate a birthday with lunch at an excellent fish restaurant. We are planning coffee first, then a celebratory glass of fizz before lunch which will be accompanied by wine.
Hope today is a good one for all.
Good morning from a grey W Kent. Happy Birthday to gM and Gala
Happy day with DB yesterday, we had a walk and a good lunch. Today is the cleaner this morning and a walk later.
Best wishes to all especially those attending medical appointments
Morning from a cooler, damp S Hants.
Happy Birthday gMattie ππ.
Our en-suite is being ripped out today, so itβll be noisy and dusty, may nip out for coffee later as the water will be off for a while.
Voluntary phones and quiz tonight.

Good morning from the Essex coast where it is dry but windy.
Happy Birthday to GM and Gala.
Have a good day everyone xx
Good morning everyone from a very wet Northampton, such a pity after the lovely sunshine of the last few days. I intended putting the bedding out on the line, but not today! Will still change the bed though and do the bedding tomorrow.
Spent yesterday afternoon in the garden, cut the front grass, cut back a poorly climbing hydrangea, and finished the lawn edging at the back; also got two loads of washing done. Dropped my keys off at my lovely neighbour's, and then he presented me with a card for my birthday later this week.
Will need to round the cats up at lunchtime and get them in their carriers ready for collection to go to the cattery. One of them is a little rascal and will try and hide!
Happy birthday grandMattie!
May we all have a good day.
And a Happy Birthday to you Gala πππ₯.
Good morning all. The sun is attempting to shine through a watery sky here in South Lanarkshire.
Happy birthday gM and Gala.
Iβm going to do my shift at the charity shop this morning after three weeks off. Iβll be taking it easy and will be super careful with my back, Iβd hate to have to give it up.
Have the best day possible everyone.
Happy birthday, gala π₯π
Good morning from a grey Cambridgeshire. Happy Birthday GM ππ₯³ It would have been my grandadβs birthday today. April is full of family birthdays. It looks like rain will spoil play today I had a walk planned with a friend and DH cycling with a friend. Oh well coffee shop and pub respectively π. We then have the usual Monday mayhem of school pick up, gym and dance class runs and a meal to prepare for DGD2 and DGS2 squeezed in between classes. Around 7.30 pm all will be peaceful again
Happy Monday to allπ
Happy Birthday Gala ππ
Happy birthday to Gala πΉπ
Happy birthday Gala π
Morning Mick, morning All. Normal service has resumed in our corner of Somerset. Wind howling and rain beating on the bedroom window. Itβs cold too.
Lunch was excellent yesterday. Once home I enjoyed pottering outside while Mr C engaged in battle with a new jigsaw, a Christmas gift. While understanding the kind thoughts behind the gift it seems it will be difficult to do. Oh well, keeps him quiet. A long call came from a hugely distressed goddaughter early evening, an odd situation, Iβm not sure what to make of it. Iβm sure more calls will clarify in time
Another pottering day ahead, definitely indoors though
Happy birthday to gala and grandmattie. Enjoy your days.
Hope Monday is kind to us all,
A very Happy Birthday to you Gala ππ
Good morning Mick and everyone, itβs pelting down with rain and very windy here.
Happy birthday GM and Gala hope you both have a lovely day.
I have lots to do indoors today before we go to Cornwall tomorrow, once my head stops wobbling, usually around 11ish, I will start.
Goodness the rain is absolutely shocking, glad I donβt have to go out in it.
New fencing is due to arrive whilst we are away, MissOops will be here and see it in. Plastic coated wire, I knew MrOops would see sense eventually.
Have a good day everyone, stay dry.
Good morning from N Bucks where normal service βοΈβοΈβοΈπ¨π¨π¨and just now a huge clap of thunder, has resumed.
Still, Spring was nice while it lasted.
Arts Society committee meeting this morning and Art History this afternoon. Iβll do the latter on Zoom as I donβt like to leave Rosie all day .
Wishing you all a pleasant day.
Good morning Mick and everyone from showery Carlisle where it's also a tad cooler.
I was outside yesterday afternoon sorting out a corner of the gravel garden. I'd planted a pretty prostrate creeping alpine in it some time ago and it's proved to be aggressively invasive. It's been heading in all directions including towards my veggie patch, the gravel is no hindrance to it. I sprayed it a while back and it soon looked well and truly dead but I went out yesterday morning to see green shoots sprouting all over! So I've been digging out earth and gravel and removing weed control fabric. It just roots through the latter and travels underneath it until it can poke its head up somewhere! I have painstakingly removed every last visible vestige of it, the plant has gone in my green bin and I have a sackful of soil and gravel which I daren't spread elsewhere in case I've missed a bit. Hopefully I can dispose of it at the tip.
Today, laundry and cleaning in the morning, reading my book and magazines in the afternoon.
Happy Birthdays to you both grandMattie and Gala.
And have the best possible day everyone.
Birthday greetings togMattie and Gala on a wild and wet morning. I thought two days without rain was too good to be true and sure enough, the blossom is being torn from the branches and petals hurled against the windows. I am out to breakfast shortly with a group of ladies who normally lunch so must make an effort to look appropriate. Hope the day is good for everyone.
Happy birthday Gala πππ
Same here GrannySomerset lilac blossoms , barely out, strewn across the lawn.
