Surely that’s what was expected?
In any case, Harry made it perfectly clear that he wanted to leave royal life, and these honorary military positions are only held by members of the royal family, as far as I know.

The Duke of Kent is a stalwart and continued with some of his duties that I believe Harry was supposed to take over.

He's 88, has not been well but still undertakes Royal duties on behalf of the Monarch.

I'm surprised at the BBC, though. They are supposedly impartial but Chris Ship does seem to have a wooden spoon which he uses quite often.

The BBC are no longer impartial about anything. They haven’t been for a number of years. I still watch their news programmes because they’re well put together, but I’m aware that I’m watching the BBC’s version of the the truth. I suppose we could call it their truth.

ITV should adhere to professional standards too but he falls below that threshold on occasion.

I fail to see how anyone could not see how Meghan’s grossly exaggerated curtsy was mocking the queen. She was extremely disrespectful. This was obvious, and I’m not even a monarchist. I thought her behaviour very poor. She clearly has no manners because monarchist or not, no one should think it okay to be so disrespectful to our Head of State.

We can avoid gossipy magazines, social media and Twitter or whatever it's called now, which can be influenced by people with an agenda, but when our main news sources are biased it is worrying.

I agree Callistemon.
The bias towards what’s happening in Gaza, with their refusal to call Hamas terrorists, and rather describing them as a proscribed by the British government group, it very worrying in my opinion. A terrorist organisation who have committed such bestial terrorist atrocities should be called what it is, a terrorist organisation, and that is what it is called by many countries including our own. I find it offensive that the BBC, an organisation to which we all are forced to pay a subscription, should behave in this way.
