Were You WOWED! By Olivia Henson's Wedding Dress?

I was surprised to see the bride wearing dark shoes.

Apparently the shoes were her something blue.

It looked very elegant, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Didn’t like the back

I thought it was lovely. As curtaintwitcher already said, elegant. Definitely not WOW.

Where does one view this phenomena?

I thought it was a bit wow too.
And I dont normally take too much notice of this type of thing.

I am another who thought the shoes were "wrong".

I thought it was a beautiful dress, such a shame it was so windy which made the train and veil uncontrollable at points. Her flowers were gorgeous, garden flowers rather than a bouquet. The small bridesmaids also looked lovely in white, but the matron of honour’s dress reminded me of 1975 Laura Ashley, a lilac flowery number, which I didn’t like at all.

What an absolutely beautiful wedding dress. I love it.

I didn't think it was anything special

I haven’t seen the dress, but they seem a lovely couple and it was their day and if she was happy with how she looked and her groom that’s what’s important.

I signed out then looked at the dress, I thought it was fantastic and she looked beautiful, even the blue shoes looked good. She is slim and beautiful and that dress was outstanding in its simple lines, lovely material and that dreamy veil. I don’t like dresses that look like a meringue or barely there.

It's a beautiful dress, an elegant silhouette with lots of fine detail that really can only be appreciated at close quarters. The lilac lady is the dress designer. Unfortunately it was a very windy day up here in the north west.

I think it is beautiful and far more appropriate for a church wedding than most dresses favoured by "celebrities". I also love the shoes - perfect to add a touch of understated quirkiness. And the flowers are gorgeous too.
In this case "old money" is definitely showing the nouveux riche how things should be done

I thought her dress was absolutely beautiful, I especially liked her bouquet.

The dress was very nice. I liked the neckline in particular. The tiara was lovely.
It was a dignified dress. So much nicer than those tarty off the shoulder ones or the overdecorated Shirley Bassey style dresses.

Completely agree with Allsorts. The dress was simple and unadorned, much like the couple themsleves and the shoes were just another sign that these two are their own people.

The couple looked so happy and they included the city of Chester in their celebrations by paying for all the summer flowers planted around te city and paying three ice cream parlours to supply a free ice cream all day to everyone who wanted one, .

Beautiful dress and the tiara was unique and a family one .

I thought she looked nice, but I was mainly thinking that the groom was rather attractive.
And 9 billion as well!

I thought the bride looked elegant and classy and I loved the quirky touch of wearing dark blue velvet shoes.

The Duke and Duchess went to great lengths to share their wedding day with local people and despite the actions of two elderly ladies from Just stop oil trying to disrupt the bridal party leaving church they were soon apprehended by the police and soundly booed by the crowd.
