So much grey. So much black. And the only alternative seems to be flat, dull brown.

Have furniture designers and manufacturers all had a colour imagination by-pass?

I despair.

We have a brown chaise sofa in the conservatory, love the sofa as it is super deep & comfy, I slept on it when we had guests. finding sofas are quite narrow today, with lots of greys 🙄 I would like a lovely green colour which I am finding there aren’t many out there.. so thought of getting this recovered & changing the chaise into a large stool/table- hopefully can be done 😊

Try Loaf - they have a gorgeous range of colours. Not cheap but they are lovely.

Our last purchase was two G Plan chairs, there was a huge choice of cloth fabrics plus leather options.

My new sofa arrives next week, gold velvet. My new arm chair is a patch work of green velvets, some plain and some of countryside scenes. Both hand made. We have a lovely family owned furniture shop that has been in business for over a 100 years. I go there for all my furniture, it's much better quality than the chain stores.
My living room is sage green with a feature wall of art deco wall paper in golds, greens and a little dark grey.
I love colour, it makes me feel happy.

I agree. Our sofas have always been neutral colours and we add pops of colour with cushions, throws, rugs and curtains, all of which are cheaper than a new suite when we fancy a change.
