Thank you for all your lovely messages. I have been overwhelmed at how many of you have sent your love and good wishes...some of you I didn't even know followed my chaotic posts but shared in my ( our) day. The service actually was more than I thought it would be...I thought it was just going to be..yes..yes
..I do...I do...sign here.😂 But the registrar made it meaningful which was lovely and probably had a lot to do with the happiness that we both felt as we left. I honestly didn't think I was doing anything more than making things legal and simplified and although I am still looking forward to being 'married' in church it turned out to be very special and although it was just DH ( ooh ) and I and our two witnesses it's felt like you were all there too. Xx

Llfl Cheers! hulahoop My very best wishes to you. flowers

Urms, Yia and NannyG4* Special love from us lot.

A very warm welcome to our new Kitcheners. smile

I've been watching tennis from Eastbourne. Wimbledon begins on Monday. hmm I shall be watching eagle-eyed from my umpire's chair.

Right now, I must pedal the exercise bike to no place in particular.

Enjoy your weekend, dear Kitcheners. smile moon

What a quiet kitchen tonight!

Soop, I admire your dedication to your cycling , just like Blossoming who is a great example of a regular exercise routine. Hope she and MrB are doing OK.

I have an appointment for physio on Tuesday, hoping to get a variety of exercises to help this sore knee which has been painful and limiting for the past 6 weeks.

Hope everyone is having the best weekend possible. We had a great afternoon celebrating Ds1 and DGD'S birthdays. It did our hearts good to have all our sons, partners and grandchildren together, along with DdiL1's parents, siblings and families. The Wee Boy had great fun playing with Grandpup (under adult supervision) with his cousins cousins, near him in age. It was good to see DGS1 and DGD too, cool teenagers now. DH and I got a nice photo of ourselves with the three grandchildren, one to treasure. I'm very thankful.

TOYA, especially those with illness, worries or sorrow. NNGB.

Good morning dear Kitcheners.I so need a group hug.
Yesterday my DH had an endoscopy and colonoscopy. He was diagnosed with bowel cancer, plus liver disease and heart failure. We are in shock and feel numb at the moment.

I know many of you are going through similar so will understand how I feel. Our family although devastated are such a comfort. The next step is a Cat scan followed by a meeting with the medics.Praying they will be able to offer treatment.
Thank you for reading it was very hard to write this.

TillyTrotter Sun 30-Jun-24 08:39:41

Yiayia your dear husband’s diagnosis is so hard to bear, for you and all your family and here is a huge Hug for you.
There are many treatments now to manage these awful diseases that many of our loved ones fall prey to,
and you will find the strength to go one step at a time and do what needs doing with a lot of care and support from hospitals, family and friends.
Especially your many friends here on GN.
Loving wishes for you 🫂
