Dh is a man who likes a bargain-he haunts reduced sections in supermarkets, loves online offers and charity shops. I won't go as far as to say every penny is a prisoner, he just likes a good deal. (Not necessarily a bad trait!) DD1 presented him with a gift voucher yesterday .......for charity shops!! We had no idea such a thing existed but what a great idea and it's not tied to any particular charity either.

What an excellent idea.

Thanks for all the positive messages. To answer a few of the questions, there are just over 1700 shops that accept the card today but we're adding more shops all of the time and expect the network to more than double this year.
We announce new shops on social media and via our newsletter but you can find your nearest shop here thecharityshopgiftcard.co.uk/stores/
We do charge charities a fee for accepting the card but we are a not for profit ourselves with the majority of our profits being converted into gift cards and donated to foodbanks, refuges and other support agencies.
We're part owned by the Charity Retail Association (which is owned and operated by charity retailers).
Thanks again for the positivity, its been tough to get the scheme launched and we're thrilled that word is spreading 💚
