let's get out and about over the next few days

I'm going over the moors - Dartmoor - today with my neighbour . It's a beautiful day here.

Today has been the first time this year when it's been sunny and warm enough without any wind to wander about the garden with a smile on my face to do the dead heading. Bliss

Tomorrow we're taking the dog on his annual holiday to a cottage in the Yorkshire Dales near to Ripon. The weather is looking perfect for a bit of walking, he doesn't like it too hot although he does like a bit of sun bathing. I'm looking forward to it too.

The Summer Solstice is at 9.51 BST tonight (Thursday 20 June). My DH and I are going on a short walk at that time to celebrate it.

It’s my son’s 50th Birthday this weekend so we will be partying outside to the sound of a Columbian Band 💃🕺🎂

Taking my alpaca cape just in case it gets nippy later in the evening.
