Thanks marydoll
What's one health habit you've started that's actually made a difference?
Good Morning Everyone,
Its a grey sky but dry start here in brackley this morning.
A little bit of drama yesterday going to Bicester via another route due to a accident on M40 causing diversions and traffic build up.
Today usual bus in hopefully its to schedule , allowing time for a coffee etc and then a shop ,before returning to watch todays stage of Tour De France .
Take Care,
Mick
Thanks marydoll

Happy Anniversary to the Gingster
Happy Anniversary to the Gingsters and also belated best wishes to Mr and Mrs Grannyme6 and the Ivy's.
Here's to many more.
Hope Taichi and Marydoll are soon feeling better and that all goes well for the Urms. Also Congratulations to the newly Graduated Granddaughter.Well Done.
Best wishes to everyone else and many thanks for a lovely, interesting thread which I always read if usually late. I enjoy catching up with everyone's news.
A late good morning from Malaga airport!
Looks warm and sunny outside, so off to find a taxi.
I’ll read everyone’s posts later.
Best wishes to all. X
Well, at least I didn't lose that post but did the opposite and hit the Post button by mistake!
I'm feeling a bit better today after a night of practically no sleep - gave up tossing and turning at 4.30 and came down for supper/breakfast before going back up to try again. This resulted in 50 minutes of blissful slumber!! Anyway, I have stomached a cup of coffee this morning - must be on the mend.
Lots of WhatsApp family chat yesterday plus some 'flat pack' flowers from DD. Amazing how those blooms pick up so quickly! Also a long email 'chat' with the lady who is taking my classes this week. All went well with her yesterday and she seems to have enjoyed herself.
Have a good day everyone. How about some sunshine photos so that the rest of us can be reminded of what a sunny day looks like ☀️
Late to the party today, partly because I have to log on every time. This is a new irritation which I don’t understand.
Last singing session until September this afternoon which will be taken by our lovely accompanist so will be enjoyable. I will miss my Wednesday afternoons and look forward to restarting, by which time it will be nearly autumn. Oh dear!
A late good morning to you all from a cold and breezy (what else 😉) Angus coast. I've just read a weather report that says we might have a short spell of better weather next week with temps hitting 20°! Flying pigs come to mind, but the prospect has cheered me up for the moment.
Aggie subtitles can be a source of great hilarity though perhaps not always informative. The best, or perhaps they're the worst depending on your point of view, come when a Scottish accent is being interpreted by an English machine! I find them such a boon though & my eye reads them and then persuaded my brain that it has just heard what's being said. Clever stuff 😄
Happy Anniversary Mr and Mrs Gingster. I agree with your Three Ps but thinking of Mr RosesandLilac's kayak in the living room perhaps Tolerance and Sense of Humour need to loom large too!
Many congratulations on your anniversary Mr and Mrs Gingster! I hope you have fun celebrating.🎉
Picked up two very miserable little boys. They had not enjoyed nursery today.😢
Happy Anniversary to the Gingsters
Busy day today with MissOops and dog here, MzOops was on her way up from Cornwall, her car broke down just as she was driving past the Garage, so we quickly looked up train times for her.
MrOops will collect her from Didcot, as we will be looking at a house for MsOops and will probably still be there. Of course this will have a knock on effect, as she had other things planned, including a trip to Heathrow to collect GS from his China trip. Anyway…….
Meanwhile MrOops is wandering around asking if he should wear thin trousers or thick ones! I ask you…. How would I know anyway?
So enjoy your day everyone, good to hear someone is looking out for you MD at last.
Happy holidays and safe travels to those on the move.
Good morning Mick and all from a mixed up weather wise northwest coast.
Really enjoyed the music club yesterday, although it was a small turnout and I sang a new song and was glad I had managed to memorise it. It gets harder to memorise as time goes by…
DD arrived from the south last night and we had a nice piece of roast beef. Today she is helping me take lots of stuff to the charity shop after she has her run.
I’m glad you enjoyed the Van Gogh experience Gala, I think I prefer seeing real paintings and was at the Lady Lever Gallery in Port Sunlight on Sunday, which you probably know.
Congratulations Gingster and thoughts to all🌺
Happy anniversary Mr & Mrs Gingster. 48 years last week for us.
A sunny day for once for us in Essex.
Best wishes to all, especially those with poorlies.
Happy anniversary to you both Gingster
Good morning , I think it has been raining all night , all yesterday and the night before ! It’s 15 in the greenhouse !
Another day of crochet ,
I’ve ear spray and antibiotics to remember , hope they clear the infection , I’m not wearing the hearing aids
The subtitles on the tv aren’t much of a help , especially live tv !
Enjoy the day folks
Good morning from the east coast of Kent. Forecast a nice day - rising to 21c!
Yesterday was spent in Canterbury cathedral and streets around. It was very busy with lots of students.
The mud flats are providing a lot of fascination, with turnstones, oyster catcher, heron and I think I heard a curlew.
Not sure what we will be doing today, but this evening we have tickets to see an Alan Ackbourn by the local dramatic society in Whitstable. Should be fun.
Enjoy your day all
Peace and harmony.
Happy Anniversary to you both Gingster and congratulations to your DGD on her graduation Time for celebrations all round! 🥂🎉💐
Good morning all from Severnside. Nice bit of sunshine.
My first job today is to clean some guttering that has been taken down. Afterwards I might take a look at doing something with the neck on the dress I’m making. The neck looks a bit floppy and ‘Esme and Patrick’ are sure to notice 😀
Happy Anniversary to Mr&MrsGinster 💐🥂
Morning, we have sun in S Hants, a rare occurrence recently, some showers are due.
Happy Anniversary Gingster 🥂three ‘p’s’ to celebrate indeed!
Yesterday I finished a week of home BP checks, that dratted buzzy machine is back in its box.
I despair of your roof Grammaretto as must you.
We have Imogen here today and we’ll be taking out some of our new potatoes karmalady Casablanca, no preserving though, they’ll be eaten.
🦩🦩
Good morning everyone from a cloudy and dull Northampton, however , a.dry day is forecast.
The rain held off yesterday, and I enjoyed the company of my walking group as we spent an hour walking around the village, followed by coffee and chat at the sports centre. We did 2 and a half miles, and by the time I got home it was well over 3 and more than 8000 steps.
I popped into the library and found a book of short stories by Margaret Atwood which I look forward to reading.
Pottering about the house this morning, and then possibly out to the well-being cafe after lunch.
Chicken stew again for tea tonight, the last portion of the massive batch I made on Monday.
Have a good day everyone.
Happy Anniversary to Gingster❤️ It was 47 years yesterday for us
Ashcombe 😂 maybe Stepping out in the future. It’s a great one to do
Congratulations to you both Gingster and to your Dgd. 👏 👏 👏
Congratulations to you and your DH Gingster 🥂🍾
Morning all, there are a few glimpses of blue sky between the clouds, I have had enough of this bloomin weather 🌞
I am going to take myself to the gym, I can do arm work and laying down stomach exercises, knee is still not behaving!
I have swimming badges to sew on their towels this afternoon (DD is not a sewing fan)
Have a good day 🙋♀️
