Is there anyone out there not interested in the football?

I have absolutely no interest in football, and I couldn’t care less who wins.

Actually I do care a bit. I’d prefer it if England doesn’t win, because if they do we’ll never hear the last of it. People haven’t stopped talking about 1966 yet.

My husband has played golf forever, when we were first together he actually got me to walk round with him. Gawd! whoever said "a good walk ruined" well they're were right. It has to be the most ponderous of a sport involving balls. However, on the positive side I think it's fair to say there is a sense of well-being in the fresh air and exercise, personally it doesn't appeal. Especially when rules such as these are prone to apply, I read in one clubhouse, regarding women's attire "if wearing a sleeveless top it must have a collar, if wearing a collarless shirt it must have sleeves" That's probably why Bianca Censori is not likely to take up golf anytime soon

We watch and enjoy it, I’m pleased schools are embracing the competion, enthusing more youngsters to get out and exercise. It’s good business for a shops, hospitality and as Rekarie said it’s making (a lot of) people happy.

Have really enjoyed these euros...I go about 5 or 6 times a season to watch Liverpool FC ....whenever I can get a ticket .....my Dad used to take me the matchvwjen I was small ....we all love footie in our family

Not a huge football fan but I've seen the last couple of England's matches. I think it's lovely to see people being happy . I've seen a lot of footage on social media with fabulous scenes of fans from all nations generally having great fun together. The Dutch fans have been amazing to watch. Brilliant clip of hundreds of folk clad in orange, singing Hey Jude to 4 English fans. Also a German police man, bearing a similarity to Gareth Southgate, gets serenaded by English fans.

It's just nice to see people having a good time. And try as they might. MSM hasn't been able to find a great deal of hooliganism.

Some may say it's over rated but it's clearly not to the clubs and fans. These young players earn upwards of 500 grand a week. I think Mbappe, the French player is on a million a week.

It's a huge world wide sport.

I’m not interested in football but I do love an occasion, so I’ll be cheering England on on Sunday with a glass of something appropriate and a selection of snacks. During the season I manage a Fantasy Football team and I’m the current supremo of the family Euros sweepstake. If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em, I say, and with a big footie mad family I might as well enjoy it!

I like watching it but don’t understand the rules at all. I know if I’m watching a good match or a bad match though because the pace seems so much quicker. And a winning team always seems to have more players. I don’t think I’ll be watching it as they only seem to have scored when I’ve not been watching.The other night I stayed in the garden towards the end of the game because I couldn’t face watching the last few minutes. I vividly remember seeing England win the World Cup when I was on holiday and was in a communal room with lots of other people. The mood of the whole country will lift if we win on Sunday. I’m getting nervous already.

Golf is not too bad (DS plays so I have to be interested 😃)

I don’t get Golf. On so many different levels - but my sil is a fanatic/. I love him so I’ve stopped being sniffy about golf ( I never mention the right wing leanings for example_😊

To me football just looks like a load of people chasing a ball and kicking it around a field. I am sure there is a lot more to it than that and I don't look down on other peoples interests,

I like opera and some people tell me that soprano arias sound like screaming. So each to his or her own.

I like football. I had a crush on the goalie of my local football team. Strangely enough, I married someone who looked like him, but as the story goes ……..

I don’t much like it, DH does and my adult son. I rang him at 8.00 last night and he was quite shocked as he ‘had just started to watch the match’ as if I had disturbed a holy moment! My dad liked it too.

For some obscure reason I did like the women’s football, I thought they were good sports

I’m not interested in football and, thankfully, neither is my DH, so we’re a football free household. Absolutely sick of all the coverage of both this and Wimbledon.

DH watches the big football events, especially if England, or any of the UK teams are playing.
I find it a useful time to listen to audio books and do puzzles or jigsaws rather than sit by myself.
We don’t watch tennis, but various parts of the Olympics will definitely be watched or recorded.
My 90 year old neighbour is delighted by the football, but she can even identify an ^offside*

We are not interested in sport at all. Lots of other interests, but not sport. So Having had tennis, football and the Olympics soon we will just be glad when its all over.
However I have prepared for it all. Since June I have been collecting D.V.Ds from charity shops- got 30 to view yet.
Then our daughter signed us up for something called netflix couple of days ago.
