Angela Rayner is a scrounger, grifter and shameless hypocrite.
Good Morning Everyone,
Its grey but dry at the moment here in brackley .
Today a slight change of plan , I have rearranged my telecon with the canonical nursing team to take place this morning.
So my usual routine will see me getting a later bus to Bicester for my usual shop and meet up with those i know.
Followed by lunch at watching the Tour De France on TV .
Take Care,
Mick

Hollysteers my heart goes out to you. There are few things in this world than severe toothache. Wishing you all the best.
What a lovely coincidence Harrigran! there were several walking groups.
But poor Hollysteers. I really hope you are OK now.
Well done to all the graduating DGC and congratulations to the proud GP.
2 of mine are awaiting Higher and A level exam results.
You poor thing hollysteers, I've had similar a long time ago. Hope that appointment comes soon.
Morning everyone ,dull day in Norfolk
Good morning Mick and all from a damp northwest coast.
It’s been a miserable few days for me. After the failed extraction of my abscessed tooth on Friday, leaving the root and abscess behind, I have had pain I wouldn’t like to repeat. Eye watering…
After many futile phone ‘phone calls, on Sunday, I staggered into Asda pharmacy after visiting two pharmacies without joy after two days of no sleep and hardly anything to eat, it’s always the weekend isn’t it? I felt dizzy and faint and they called the paramedics!😳 My son came over from 25 miles away and to cut a long story short, I now have painkillers and antibiotics after taking myself to the dentist yesterday like a zombie. I vomited there, vomited in Boots in a paper bag and vomited when I got home. Not eaten, so not sure how I could throw up😁.
Now waiting for urgent hospital appointment to remove the remaining tooth.
I’d like an interesting view Ash, but not of disturbing things!
Hope you feel better too grandmattie and thoughts to all🌺
Good morning, Michael and all GNs from a damp South Yorkshire. I had a bad night and am late coming to this morning. Did some hacking and chopping in a corner of the garden yesterday and it left me rather pooped. Volunteering this afternoon - hopefully I shall be able to walk to school and back if the rain stops.
Have the best day you can folks.
A soggy morning but better forecast for later in the day. The garden has liked all this rain, especially the weeds, but I suspect summer won’t start until the schools reopen in September. Will need the vitamin D tablets I think.
Supermarket shop and a cup of tea with a friend this afternoon the highlights of today but I can think of worse ways to fill the day.
Good morning from a grey Lincolnshire, forecast is for rain all day.
Yesterday I was able to sit in the garden for an hour and read my book. After lunch DS and two teenagers went off to Skegness, they had different activities planned and they collected DIL and GD2 from the station in the evening.
They were late returning to the cottage so I just cooked ready meals, but gave them warm sausage rolls as a starter.
GD2 was very tired after her trip to London and was aching from standing eight hours in Hyde park. She went straight off to bed after dinner.
This afternoon we are going to the cinema in Louth and have a table booked for dinner later, yippee no cooking today.
Lovely photographs Grammaretto, my sister sent almost identical photos, she was in Eyemouth yesterday.
Have the best day you can in this poor weather.
Good morning all from overcast Wiltshire. Lots of rain yesterday but the dire forecast of thunderstorms and absolutely lashing rain didn’t materialise.
Had small GC for sleepover on Saturday for 23 hours. I was absolutely exhausted when they had gone. I’d rather look after babies. They fought constantly with most of it being instigated by the 3 year old. When we went out he punched his sister in the face. Went to sleep at 9:30 and back up before 6am. They have few boundaries because DD says DGS acts out and is expressing his anger and frustration because he is 3. Hmmmm 😵💫😵💫
Fed up because we have left it too late to buy tickets for this years RIAT. Last year we didn’t go as the weather was appalling and this year we were waiting to see until last weekend to decide. Weather now looks good but alas all tiers of tickets are sold out.
Thinking of Granmeretto’s ceiling. Also all poorlies. I hope you all have a good day.
Good morning from a dreary Bristol.
I am touched that you have missed me. Thank you for your concern.
I’m late as I had a rubbish night, overslept and, unusually, don’t feel that good today.
I had a bad day yesterday too. Went to Tesco with my neighbour and her friend, wasted time having a coffee. When getting the zapper , I realised that I had used my cards a few days earlier and left them in a different coat. Grr 😡. In a rage, despite my friend offering to pay for my shopping, stormed out and walked home, nearly 20 minutes away. I was most embarrassed when she came over later with flowers in sympathy.
The rest of the day was so so, I made more marmalade, a moussaka for dinner. And as I said, a rotten night for no apparent reason.
Onward and upward. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩
Good morning from a cloudy Essex coast. We had a lot of rain yesterday evening and overnight, where has summer gone this year.
Shopping and a visit to the bank this morning. Admin this afternoon.
DD2 and family are in Cyprus and are having much better weather than we are here.
Have a lovely day whatever you may be doing xxx
Good morning from yet another rainy Black Country, where it rained most of the day from lunchtime.
Luckily I had just arrived home from my walk when it started. Then it abated for a while when I walked with my friend for Line Dancing, before starting with a vengeance.
No real plans today, so ironing, and waiting for Gas Engineer to arrive, as we have intermittent hot water. So annoying when having a shower and it suddenly runs cold!
I hope gM is ok.
Wishing you all a lovely day
Good morning all. Thick fog on the Angus coast today - now that the temperatures are above freezing! There is no end to the miseries of this summer.
No time to chat today as I'm off to tai chi shortly so I'll just wish you a good day for now and pop back to read later x
Good morning from a sunny Suffolk further up the coast from Gingster where,if there was rain and wind in the night,I didn’t hear it.
Off to meet a friend for coffee and probably our usual cheese scones in a nearby market town and then I’ve some work to do this afternoon for a meeting I’ve volunteered to do tomorrow afternoon. It’s not my usual one but they needed a volunteer to be quorate so I offered.
Hope today is a good one for all.
Good morning all from a showery Glasgow, where it is 12°C and showery.
Where is Mattie this morning?
Grandmabatty, glad to hear you felt a bit better .
I had a really enjoyable day yesterday with the Ebay Queen. I swore I would not buy anything, but got a pair of pretty Lotus sandal, never worn and still in the box for £12. Of course I got home, absolutely wiped out, but it was worth it.
For ages I have had a notion for herring and new potatoes, but there has been none available. Much to my delight, the fishmonger in the village, we were visiting had some in the window, I bought it all, some for dinner and some to freeze. When I was a student and working very long shifts in the Knorr factory in the summer holidays, my mother used to have herring and new potatoes ready for me when I came home exhausted. It always brings back memories of those days.
Baubles, the volunteer started to tell us about their other charity shops, including yours, 🤭 suggesting we visit them.
Have an enjoyable meet up and please say Hello from me to the other gran.
I'm trying to decide whether to summon up the energy to go into Glasgow to the Swatch shop to get my watch fixed or just potter about. Yesterday took a lot out of me.
Have the best day you can folks.
Good morning from a bright W Kent, thunder and lightning last night.
DD1 arrived safely and so begins a week of outings and family meet ups.
madeleine Hope your leg improves soon.
Ash we often feel we are at the theatre looking out of our living room window.
Hope your day goes to plan Mick
Best wishes to all
Good morning everyone from a very damp and soggy Northampton; torrential rain yesterday and more forecast on and off today. Not sure whether I shall make the health walk this afternoon.
At least I managed to cut the front grass yesterday, although it started raining about half way through the task, but I was determined to finish, and was decidedly damp by the time I got back indoors!
Spent the afternoon reading; after dinner I was so cold I put the heating on. Never done that before in July!
A morning of pottering about the house, then after lunch maybe a health walk or an afternoon of reading. Really enjoying Kate Atkinson's 'Transcriptions'. I also plan on making a large batch of Bolognese.
Have a pleasant day everyone.
Good morning all from a wet Black country nonstop rain since early yesterday afternoon.
Hairdressers today and I need to look for a present for friends granddaughter.
Madeleine I'm glad you finally met up with your son and family, hope the swim helps your back.
Enjoy your day everyone whatever your plans, don't forget your brolly☔
Morning from a brightening S Hants, it poured an hour ago, I hope your swim helps madeleine.
Yesterday was busy on the phones, I’ve admin from that to sort in a minute, then an early trip to the butcher in the village to collect an order. We must be bonkers as we’ve friends coming for a tea time bbq, it should stay dry, but cool.
Rather disconcerting Ashcombe.
🦩🦩
Good morning all and it’s sunny here at the Suffolk seaside.
Rain and gusty wind in the night which woke me up, but I love hearing it while snuggled up in bed.
Still no mower , hopefully they’ll deliver it back today. 🙄.
We’re having a bed delivered this morning . They’ve given us a two hour slot time for arrival, which is very acceptable. Better than waiting in all day.,
WHM2 my DGD had her graduation at southampton last week too.
Our friends are holidaying up here this week so will meet up with them. One couple at their Lodge, o another couple in a camper and another in a self catering place for disabled . We all used to caravan holiday up here when the children were young, so it will be memory lane for us.
I hope you all have a *good’ day whatever you’re doing.🌸
Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s another grey start to the day. Yesterday afternoon turned out really warm and sunny so hoping for the same later today
Pleased you’re feeling a bit better grandmabatty, enjoy your day with the boys
A busy day ahead with both dentist appointment and a hairdressers appointment, I’ll be pleased when both are done.
Good to hear you’re getting out and about mizuna, you’re doing so well
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings 💐
A quick morning all from Helsinki!
I think we’re going on a boat trip today.
Have a good day.
Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Gloomy and cloudy.
Yesterday's coastal walk was lovely. The photo shows a swan and 2 cygnets. The sun shone and we enjoyed fish & chips and icecream in Eyemouth 😋
The rain stayed off until late afternoon.
Chiropractor this morning and a catching up day with house things.
Karmalady you are a domestic goddess!
Mizuna there had been a marked lack of nectar due to the cold spring. Bees are suffering so that could be a reason for less fruit. so my beekeeping friends tell me
I'm glad you made it to your DS Madeleine and hope your back improves.
Have the best day possible everyone.
Good morning all from North Leicestershire where has been raining all night, is still raining and looks set to rain all the day.
I have to complete my DBS renewal today and then out for tea and cake with a friend.
Have the best day possible everyone.
