Picturing where GNs live.

I live in Derby but a few minutes out and am in beautiful countryside and the Peak District. Can go from lush valley to bleak moorland very quickly. The seaside feel can be had by a quick trip to Matlock Bath. Then there are several reservoirs locally too so I love where I live. For seaside my happy place is Cromer in Norfolk, I just feel so relaxed there. Lovely to have a chance to imagine where we all live.

Here's the view in one direction from our sitting room window. Hard to believe we live quite near the centre of town.

We had lovely views when we lived in Devon but not so much here, although it's very pleasant and we are on the edge of lovely countryside. The river's not the same as the coast.

Here's an early morning photo from where I am. I take the dogs out before it gets too hot. Later on the beach will ring out to the sounds of fun and laughter. I'll be going back for a mango flavoured ice cream this afternoon.

I’m in the Algarve inland, beautiful countryside and about 10 miles from the sea.

We are indeed all very lucky in this country.

I have been unable to attach my photos, everytime it says "too large", and I have been cropping and editing to no avail. But it has been a pleasure looking at all the beautiful areas that you are staying in.

We have two small apartments. One in Urmston when we downsized 14 years ago. Here is the view from our balcony.

The other is in Málaga which we bought 20 years ago. This is the view from our little balcony there. The Mediterranean is a ten minute stroll away to the paseo. I call it my ‘happy place’.

My bedroom is turning into an art gallery - you should see the rest of the house!

Very nice kitty! It never dates does it?

I live on the outskirts of London, A very famous school is close by but a hard uphill walk (for me). Very close to Heathrow but sitting in my house is like living in the country because there is rarely a sound. Luckily we are not on a flight path for Heathrow or the military planes returning to the local airport.

The best of everything, buses every 2 minutes and the tube on the whole is good.
