Why is this so prevalent in England ?

At the moment, I am reliably told that in North Finchley pro immigration demonstrators are on one side of a boarded up shopping area, police officers are in the middle and anti something demonstrators are on the other side.
Now I really don’t understand what is the point? My sister has had to cancel her carer in case the carer was caught up in whatever might happen. I just hope that innocent people stay safe.
I don’t see why this is happening. It’s hardly a meeting of minds is it?

I agree about Sir Trevor Phillips - a very sharp man. He and several other high profile black people have long said Britain is the least racist country in the world and if it was they would not be in the positions they are today and people would not flock to come and live here.

Of course, the Left and the do gooders don’t agree with what they say so they have spent several years trying to insist that Britain is racist and stirring up trouble where there really is hardly any. Personally I have seen far less racism over the last, say, 50 years and I felt things were heading in the right direction. Now look, a few weeks into a Labour govt and we are flying back towards square one.

Starmer says that faster processing of asylum seekers claims allied to trying to smash the smuggling gangs will work.The first will, the second is just about impossible.
