Good Morning Everyone,
Its a dry but cloudy start here in brackley this morning.
After yesterdays long day at Weymouth , which I manage to get a all day breakfast , there were two coach loads .
Anyway , today a more relaxed day at home , I will have my usual Chinese Take Away later today for a change .
Weymouth was packed and busy but journey due to lack of fast routes between north of Bournemouth and Dorchester meant traffic cues ,and no service stops coming home .
Take Care,
Mick

Morning from an overcast S Hants, last night was the engagement party for my son and his fiancée, lots of his friends we haven’t see for a few years. We left after a couple of hours, but were later to bed, then MrJ had dreadful reflux, hence up later today. I should be washing bedding, may leave it until tomorrow, roast chicken here too later.
I hope you’re behaving litterpicker a nasty shock for you.

Good morning Mick and everyone from cool, grey and showery Carlisle. I have put a sweater on...
Nothing much got done yesterday except reading which didn't do anything for my new steps target, given me by my physio. It's surprising how much exercise you can get just by doing housework and yesterday I didn't!
I also watched an old Hitchcock film in the evening which I didn't enjoy much. It must have been one of his first, creaky with age and rather silly.
Today I plan more reading but interspersed with activity which could include putting a plant or two in the garden if the weather improves.
There will be an early night as I'm up early for a coach trip to Logan Gardens which I've long wanted to see. Had I been driving myself there, I think I would be postponing as the weather forecast is dire. I suspect the restaurant and glasshouses will be well patronised.

Have an enjoyable Sunday everyone and a quiet one for you RoseandLilac!

Good morning all and it’s bright , warm with a pleasant temperature.

Yesterday Dd, little DGD caught the train to Lake Meadows, only 2 stops along from here. It’s a huge beautiful park with
Lovely walks around the lake, a playground and a cafe.
We bumped into a couple of dg’s friends so she was happy to play with them for a while. Picnic and ice cream . Lovely!

Today we have dgd2’s 18th birthday gathering at DS1’s house/garden. Forecast is good! Bar b q and Pimms - choice of the birthday girl. About 50 of us.
What a week she’s had A level results, a job offer, passed her driving test and now her 18th.

Take care Litterpicker . Rest up. 💐.
I hope next doors visitors wend their way home soon RosesandLilac 🙄.

Take care all 🌸 and enjoy the day

A later good morning from an overcast Northampton, but the sun is trying its best. Grass-cutting is on the agenda for today, should have been yesterday, but decided to sit out and read instead after my shopping trip. Managed to get on the wrong bus coming home, and found myself on a bus into town instead! So got off at the next stop, crossed the road and waited for the right one which luckily was along in a coup!e of minutes.

After grass-cutting will sit out and catch up with the weekend's papers. Must dose myself up with anti-histamines first, including the special eye drops I found in Boots.

Another roast chicken dinner here this evening; will do the potatoes in the air-fryer along with left over baked potato from last night. Plus a welcome.glass of sauvignon blanc. Raspberries and ice-cream to follow!

May your Sundays be pleasant and peaceful.

Good morning,

A breezier day than yesterday, so it feels a bit cooler.
Not sure what I’ll be doing for dinner tonight yet, will look in the freezer for inspiration.

Glad you enjoyed your trip out yesterday Mick.

Good morning from a dry and breezy NE.
Slept late because I did not settle down until 2am.
Family were out to lunch with my sister yesterday and called to see me afterwards. It was 7pm by the time they arrived and they were not happy because someone followed them to my door. This person had tailgated them and then started threatening DS, we have photographic evidence as he was under one of our four CTV cameras.
DS said the man was slurring his speech but he could not smell alcohol and thought he may have been under the influence of drugs.
DS called the police in the hope that this man could be stopped before he did it to someone else. They tried to brush it off but DS said his teenage DDs were in the car and frightened and feared he may return to my house when I was alone. Police said they would ring on Monday, if he hadn't said we had video evidence they would have dismissed his complaint.
I thought the police reaction was blasé considering the amount of violence that occurred in our town the other weekend and the numbers arrested.
I am going to have a quiet day looking at wartime memorabilia that used to belong to my parents, when I am finished DS will take them and store them with the family tree.
Take it easy Litterpicker and hope you feel better soon.
