very LARGE Moon due Monday night

Very cloudy here, sadly

Too cloudy and drizzly here in Torbay, sadly. ☹️

Completely overcast here in Durham too.

Still hidden behind the mountain, but clear skies. So will go out and see a bit later

once in a blue moon is now ;) lol

No sign of it so far, here in Kent. However, it’s now raining and overcast.

We’ve got dreadful wet and windy weather here in mid Wales, so not a chance of seeing it unfortunately.

came up over the mountain and we got telescope out - wow, so so bright and huge, and the detail amazing.

Send us a picture Fleurpepper, I’d love to see it?

Went outside to check but no sign of the moon, far too cloudy.

Chestnut I've been thinking of that moon of years ago too - I don't think I've seen one like that since. It was magnificent. I saw the moon last night - very bright - and I'm glad I did as it's thick cloud and rain this evening!

I wish I had written down the date and time I saw that huge moon (about 20 years ago). It might be in an old diary but I'd have to do a lot of searching. Then I could find out more. I just remember it being an orangey colour, not bright or white at all, and so large.
Found this picture of a Harvest Moon which is how it looked. Maybe there will be another one next month!

No sign where I live,cloud cover. I was dissapointed.

I looked out several times during the night but too cloudy to see it here in Essex.

No moon here last night either as it was cloudy, but it was lovely on Sunday too. Sadly my phone doesn't take good pictures at night but there are some great photos online for those of us who couldn't see it ourselves:

Just noticed - MiniMoon posting about the very large moon and saying you saw no moon. A example of serendipity on the thread!

Wow Chestnut that Harvest Moon🥰 it was disappointing not to see the large moon last night but looked at pics of it from all over the world.Looked great from Portugal.

Didn't see it here in France.
It wasn't , frankly, that large.
AND it was red!!!!

Way to go we girls still have it in us to party men just get old and become couch potatoes

It was orange here, in the south of Denmark, and hanging apparently just over the tree-tops. Absolutely beautiful.
