Do any of you go on Pinterest?

Yes, I follow art/design, crafts, interiors, health , recipes and anything I'm interested in, really. Some of my boards are private boards as I don't necessarily want to share my interests and /or inspiration with anyone.

I don't go there often and definitely not for anything social. Pinterest home feed only shows me things I'm interested in, but I have been on there for years so it obviously knows me well.

I did in the past.. But left as I got fed up with post being sent out to me all the time.

That one certainly does. I rarely use it, but after researching castles, I got frequent suggestions about how to revamp the interior/exterior of my stately home.

The thing I object to is it keeps giving me suggestions about pregnancy!

I get a lot of swimming pool inspo, but I don't mind.

I use Pinterest extensively for my antiques business and post on there at least twice a day. I have about 80 boards, some public and some secret. Almost all art art/antiques/history/design oriented.

Pinterest is constantly adding pins to your "home feed" and sometimes even I am baffled as to how certain topics pop up. For example I do get pictures illustrating sporting personities - a topic in which I have no interest whatsoever.

Bear in mind that it is largely run by machines and bots. If someone pins a picture which violates community guidelines (eg it is deemed adult) then the bots may search for similar pictures among the postings of other people and record it as a violation - even if you were not the original pinner.

Yes, I do. I use it to search for knitting and crochet ideas and the results cause me to be dazzled by other people’s creativity and skill.
Recently my home feed has been showing me amazing ways of turning half a cucumber and some cherry tomatoes into works of art. Again something I admire but just do not have time to experiment with.
I am very careful to look at just the ideas that interest me in case the bots get the wrong ideas!

Yes, whenever I need some ideas for latest house improvements.

I was introduced to Pinterest whilst attending a textile art course in 2016. Been hooked ever since as they really know my interests very well. Hasn't changed my life though!

Yes I use it mainly for home/garden design inspiration, outfit ideas and knitting/sewing patterns. I have a few boards, some private. Its nice to browse now and again but I find it quite repetitive with the same images coming up from different sources.

I got fed up with being bombarded.

I love the garden images and dream of what I want to do to mine. There is some very original stuff on there. Very addictive.

I love Pinterest. I often search haircut ideas for 50, 60, 70’s, posts about my favourite dog breed just to see pictures of them and dream I own one. 🙄
Last subject was decorating tiny downstairs toilet!

Its my go to for everything house related,and since I bought an air fryer its where I find all the recipes.

I probably don’t use it to its full potential but it’s my go to for recipes.

Yes, my interests are mostly craft related and general idea things I like for the garden etc.

I have never really got to grips with how Pinterest works. i find it all very confusing.

I use it to research textile and garden design. I quite like the random suggestions on my home page in an amusing way. I don’t post any photos of my creations, but enjoy having pinboards.

I don't post but do have boards for fashion, decorating, gardening, crafts, food and drink. Mainly I use them to hold onto things I've found that interest me but haven't got around to trying yet.

I have 2 followers 🙄 😂but I don't follow anyone.
